Dunno what your ideal is but that sure as HELL ain't my ideal woman.
She's got no rack, no hips, and so on. Her face ain't all that either.

Now I should note here that I searched Men's Health first and then in the interest of parallelism and because I didn't know where else to find an attractive women outside of porn I googled Women's Health.
So I admit there are hotter women than the one in the picture I gave, however they are hard to find outside of porn. And can't exactly show porn here. Although, if you guys disagree I might be persuaded otherwise.
I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1@Mark Hater! >:(
@BH The woman is gorgeous...but I can't say the same for the man.
There's no justice in the world and there never was~So I think all we're going to prove in this topic is that beauty is subjective.

Or, alternatively, isn't laden with various Freudian complexes.
And better than thy stroke; why swellest thou then? She's far from ugly but not much closer to ideal. She's fit though, and in person may have a vitality that lends her more than that static image.
Women run the gamut for me. From Felicia Day to Vanness Anne Hudgens.
Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter.I don't consider the woman on that cover my ideal either, but that is pretty undeniably the current paradigm for our society as a whole.
I like 'curvy women' myself but I won't pretend that idea isn't still a novelty at the moment.
@Gaiseric: Basically that's what I would say.

I mean that chicks is mildly attractive, but by no means my ideal.

"I'm not laden with Freudian complexes"
And people who like their women slim and fit aren't drunk off their asses.
And better than thy stroke; why swellest thou then?True, maybe I was being an ass.
Bottom line, I guess, there is no ideal woman. That was the point I was getting at, before I became an ass.
I think there are many ways for girls to be attractive than men.
Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter.@Mark: Would Christina Hendricks◊ be closer to ideal then? Personally, a beautiful woman in my eyes would be somewhere in between her and the Women's Health model.
Okay, so beauty is subjective. Did not take long to get to that point. What I'm interested in are the particular studies that people did about human perception of beauty in men and women. I remember somone saying that both women and men like to stare at pictures of women longer than those of men? Are there any links?

"War doesn't prove who's right, only who's left." "Every saint has a past, every sinner has a future."Kind of, yeah. Hendricks is fine as all hell. But I agree halfway between her and that magazine model would be ideal.
@Kash: points awarded for finding Noomi Rapace gorgeous.
So, beauty is subjective. Yay, we've all learned something. I'm gonna go back to my whiskey bottle now...
If I were to write some of the strange things that come under my eyes they would not be believed. ~Cora M. Strayer~If Mark's laden with complexes, so am I. I guess I would consider the ideal woman to actually look like a woman... that is to say, curvy hips and noticeable boobs. That model's too boyish-looking for me.
The guy's not that appealing to me either, but I already know my taste in men is strange compared to the norm.
Apparently I am adorable, but my GF is my #1 Groupie. (Avatar by Dreki-K)I will defend my belief that six-packs are far preferable to breasts.
She's a tomboy? Really?
Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter.I don't know if she acts like a tomboy or not. (Looking boyish =/= being a tomboy; I'm a tomboy and I don't look boyish at all.)
Just that tiny boobs+tiny hips = boyish-looking for me.

Apparently I am adorable, but my GF is my #1 Groupie. (Avatar by Dreki-K)My crush is a trackstar deciding wether to go for the 0 or the 00, so a slight frame is not an issue for me.
Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter.Never said it had to be an issue for you.
Just that for me, a woman with no curves is not my personal idea of the ideal woman. (Heck, my own GF isn't super-curvy either. But then, we are talking the ideal woman, not the "if you don't look like this you're an ugly cow" woman...)

Apparently I am adorable, but my GF is my #1 Groupie. (Avatar by Dreki-K)Yeah my ideal woman is a goth chick with a nice curvy figure. I guess ideal is as hard to define as when it's okay to flip the board in Monopoly.
So a girl's not ideal until there's a cat on her knocking the pieces around?
"I don't know how I do it. I'm like the Mr. Bean of sex." -DrunkscriblerianOr until she has a gauntlet of hotels threatening the poor thimble who only has $9 to it's name.
Here is a picture of approximately the ideal woman. You can see there's a fairly slight curve to her body, but it's not terribly strong. Not really a figure-8 kind of curve, honestly.
Here is a picture of very near the ideal man. You can see... there is the same kind of fairly slight curve to his body! In fact if you count the muscles the man has more curves in him than the woman!
