"I'm all for pointless fighting, you know, 'S what I did for a living and all, but we should probably find out what this place is before we start, y'know, killing each other..." Travis interjected, though he felt odd, trying to be the voice of reason.

"Which reminds me. Should we head out to the rest of the dock or get to shore?" He stared at the direction ahead of them and in back of them.

From the responses he recieved, the humanoid alien realized that everyone was as clueless as he was about what exactly this planet is.

He shook his head at Rogue's question "Never heard of that particular race, I'm afraid."

Since he had the feeling he wasn't going to get an answer to where he is anytime soon he decided to give out his name.

"I may as well introduce myself too, I am Rundas of the Phyrigisian race."

"United Earth Directorite, they're the guys who took charge of Earth some time after the three sleeper ships left it" Jim told them, sounding slightly confused now. "If you boys don't even know about the UED... Just what the hell is going on here?" he said, glancing around.

As Red introduced himself, Kirby's look of suspicion turned to one of relief as he let out a content sigh. He smiled happily, and waved at the group with both of his hands way above his head.

"Kirby!" he responded in a high-pitched, squeaky voice to Red. He then pointed at Red. "Red..." He looked at the frog man, the other young man, and the robot quizzically, curious what their names were.

Nightmare

From atop his throne, Reala grins as the last of his selected Nightmaren disappear through the double door in front of him. The door almost seems out of place in this area. The inviting warmth of the wooden frame and the beautiful, intricate carvings on the stone frame clash horribly with the red-and-black decorations of the throne room. The top of the throne room features a stained-glass depiction of a futuristic highway leading into a forest of gold, an indicator of the kind of Nightopia this door currently leads to.

Reala floats down from the throne, his twisted features accentuated by the roaring flames that light the room. It shouldn't be much longer now... another Visitor taken by surprise, and another set of Ideya for Master Wizeman... another nail in Nightopia's coffin.

As his boots touched the ground, the stained glass on the door went completely black. This caught Reala by surprise for a moment - this hasn't happened before. Normally when a Nightopia destabilizes, the entire door begins to crumble. He only had time to reach a hand towards the door before it flew open. A dark mist spewed forth from the wall, putting out the torches and pulling Reala in. He attempted to fly away from the door, but to no avail - the force from the door was far too strong. Reala was easily swallowed by the darkness behind the door. Immediately after he was pulled inside, the double doors slammed shut. The stained glass artwork on the door reappeared.

Entry Point C

No later than he heard the sound of the closing doors, Reala found himself somewhere completely unexpected. Gathering his bearings, he saw he had appeared inside an abandoned retail store. He had seen similar buildings in the dreams of many visitors, but this was the first he'd found in such a state of disrepair. He located what appeared to be an entrance to the store; it was covered in vines, providing the room with the little light that could seep through the trees. It seemed to be the only exit, so Reala hovered to the back of the store, kicked off the back wall, and spun into a Drill Dash. He easily punched a wide hole in the foliage covering the exit.

Hovering outside the store entrance, Reala found that the store was connected to a much larger shopping mall. He looked around at the destruction caused by the mighty forces of time and nature. What a melancholy setting... there can't be any advantage in being here. Any Visitor who dreamed up such a somber setting must surely have lost his Ideya upon entry. This isn't even the Nightopia that I opened the door to! I'm completely wasting my time here.

Reala's reflections were interrupted by the sound of conversation coming from the floor beneath him. He floated over the railing in front of him and quietly touched down to the next floor. The voices were coming from the other side of a thick group of trees. He resolved to do nothing but listen in for now. Maybe they'll say something to reveal the way to this dream's door...

Unbeknownst to him, this was no dream. And escape would be much more complicated than finding a door.

The Laria Woods, 3rd century since the fall of the Kingdom of Pendor and several months after the fall of the Kingdom of New Pendor. Somewhere deep within the forest, the traditional home of the ancient Noldor Elves.

A figure clad in a suit of shining, extremely ornate armor sat astride his exquisite, magic-infused horse. His green-tinted bascinet was open, revealing under it a youthful face, which seemingly undermined the decisiveness and experience in his eyes as well as the water-cutting sharpness of his expression. The presence of his arms and armor, brimming with enchantment, while nothing to be compared to his greater kins' mastery over the arcane in the distant past, was still a sight to behold by any human of his world.

Before him knelt another, albeit lesser figure, bearing a lightly enchanted garb of the Silvermist Rangers - the Noldors' favored human disciples.

"I see, so they are back to war again. So... human."

The mounted figure said, his head swaying from side to side as he spoke, not making any attempt to hide his disappointment.

"It could not be helped, master," the disciple answered. "After all, the anti-New Pendor alliance's victory did create some major territorial changes. Sarleon now holds Rane. Ravenstern took over Singal. The Empire controls Knudarr Castle and Ansen Lodge. The Fierdsvain found themselves in possession of Avendor. And finally Ravenstern swiped the entire patch of land south of Laria and north of the Three Cities of the Empire as their own. War to resettle this score is inevitable."

"And just when we thought New Pendor's ruler was worthy of some respect," the so-called 'master' replied. "Is there anything else worth hearing?"

The disciple bowed deeply.

"Master, even as we speak the siege of Laria continues. Some of our brothers and sisters are still fighting hard to halt the Empire's advances on behest of Sarleon," the disciple said. "What are your commands?"

"We stay put," the Noldor lord answered. "The wars on this continent has ravaged on and off for centuries now, before your grandfather's grandfather was born. Even if we wanted, we cannot stop it - the nature of humans is, after all, fighting and quarreling."

"But what of our brothers and sisters in Laria?"

"Quigfen can help smuggle out those who don't want to fight. And those who do," he said, "would find fighting for their cause a noble thing to do. That instinct of fighting for a noble cause is always worthy of respect, in which case I would have you not interfere with them."

"As you wish, Master Ithilrandir," the disciple replied. "Is there anything else you would enlighten us with?"

"Yes," Ithilrandir nodded. "Send this letter to Marius Imparator of the Empire as fast as you can."

He produced a message from his person as he leaned forward to hand it over to his disciple.

"It is of vital importance that it reaches the recipient within the..."

POOF.

"Master Ithilrandir?"

To his recipient's horror, his master had vanished right before his eyes in what would seem to have been a puff of surging magical energy. The only thing that remained of him in the continent of Pendor was his confidential letter.

"Guards, guards! Lord Ithilrandir has disappeared!"

The entire forest side was quickly filled up with Noldor rangers and trackers, the best there were in the lands. And yet, for more than two days they tried without success to find their lord and master. It was as if he had ceased to exist... or been teleoported to some other dimension, to somewhere beyond even the ancient understanding of their race...

Another flash, this time in Extremus.

POOF.

Ithilrandir emerged from the flash, finding himself in the middle of a broken square, devoid of life, as though a war had just been fought there, killing every inhabitant from the rodents onward.

Or maybe not. The landscape seemed to be the only thing broken, for there were still some people here, standing around and speaking quizzically. Not all of them were human or elven in shape, though - some others looked just like some sort of monsters forgotten in the ancient Noldor myths of the ages past.

Survival instinct gripped the Noldor lord. He needed to find out where he was, but not before being absolutely sure the crowd over there were at least neutral enough to not attack him on sight. Thinking so, he drew his bow and began to trot towards the group.

"Who goes there? Friends or foes of the wood?"

Susan watched as the Agatean (she really needed to ask his name...) charged off to go help the spear-wielder. She turned away, looking over the rest of the group.

Most of them, she couldn't really get a handle on. They were all acceptably humanoid, but they looked as varied and odd as the Agatean. One looked like a child, but with a little bit of demon thrown in. The two she was chatting with looked like a pair of Thieves' Guild thugs, but with far different outfits than the simple jackets preferred by the Guild.

Susan suspected all of her Discly information was going to be useless here, and so judging by appearances wouldn't help much. After all, nobody looking at her would expect that her grandfather was the Grim Reaper.

She stepped over towards the gathering crowd. "Come on, head for land. Unless you like the smell of this lake, that is."

"My... this fog is getting pretty tiresome." A voice echoed from the gray veil of water vapor as Jade made his way through the fog, before coming in contact with Raspberyl's group. He stared at them for a moment before shrugging and coming to a stop.

"Forgive my sudden intrusion, but by any chance do you know where we are currently? The topography and location of this landmass?" Jade inquired the group, his glasses automatically defogging its surface with Fon Tech as he regarded the motley group.

Kenshin stared at the rather shocked looking girl and couldn't help but smile. "She seems just like Ayame and Suzume, that she does." Kenshin thought for a moment, before taking a side-glance at the other voices. "Ahh, my mistake miss. I wish I could explain, but we should probably head for more solid ground..." Kenshin tapped the murky water with his sheathed blade, eying it as the residue came up. "It would be best that we were away from this taint, that it would."

"I wish I could tell you, this place is not like any other planet I've been to." Rundas told Raynor, he also had no idea what this UED was, then again he rarely visited earth. But this did give him a question of his own to ask, mainly to cement if indeed he no longer in his own universe.

"Tell me, have any of you ever heard of the Galactic Federation?" Rundas asked the group.

As he asked that, he glanced at the newcomer with the bow, if he decided to attack then Rundas would have no hesitation to at least freeze his weapon.

He talked funny, but he seemed like a nice guy. Minako nodded her head and quickly stepped across to dock and shuffled away from the water, casting a wary glance back at it as if she was worried it would snap up and grab her. She looked to all of the other people around and raised an eyebrow. The little demon girl now was with a biker, a biker with sunglasses, and a bean with the biggest grin ever. Approaching them was a woman who was a bit hard to place. She looked like she might have been British or American.

Now there was a man in steel armor, of all things, looking like he had just stepped out of a story about ancient Earth. "Different universes? Like some kinda' science fiction?" Jim said in response to Rogue.

"Well, unless any of you are from around here, I think we should be working on getting our bearings straight" he muttered, then glanced up past Rogue and pointed at something in the distance. A tower that, like the town square, looked like it hadn't seen any kind of maintainence for a century at least. "See that big tower over there? If we can get to the top, we can get a good look at the surrounding area" he suggested, knowing that people were typically less likely to kill each other if they were working towards the same goal...

Well, unless that goal couldn't be shared, of course.

Gene could only stare silently at the bean man, his mind trying to process what it had just say. He sort of got the underline message was, but it was spoken so oddly that it simply threw off any logical thinking. "Bottle of the bistro's light...WHAT?!" Gene tired to repeat, but it was simply mud. "Are you speaking through a bad translator or something?" That actually brought up a good question on how everyone so far spoke the same language, but that didn't seem important.

Gene looked wary at Raspberyl. His previous experiences with demons had been...less than pleasant. He obvious didn't trust her a bit, but if she was after the God Hand she wouldn't have backed down when he threatened her. Besides, she seemed to be on the weak side (one might accuse Gene of underestimating the small demon, but his own experiences has shown that bigger was better).

"Alright, Beryl." He said, seeming to relax "I believe you. But one move to the God Hand and I'll launch you" Gen pointed over to the waterfall as he said that last bit. The particular angle he chose to point showed he meant 'into the sky'.

When the new people arrived and one asked where land was, the God Hand holder glanced around the area "I don't see land, but I agree with her" He said, thumbing over to Susan. "This place is rank"

"I'm Gene, by the way" He sort of added at the end, said with a smirk.

Girl in high school uniform and guy in old feudal wear.

Travis decided he could come up with some inane theory on how all of thses figures represent the facets of his warped perverse psyche, culminating with the whole 'this is a dream' theory, but decided that pretty much amounted to a bunch of self-conscious, arrogant bullshit.

So, instead, he decided to just roll with it for now. Might as well just play along until he either woke up or it became more aware this was real.

Either that, or he suddenly went insane. That could explain some things as well.

Anyway, so, for now, he knows that the one other dude around his age group is named Gene(Which made him awkwardly think of both Jeane, the half-sister, and Jeane, the cat, all too much.) and the moe demon girl was Raspberyl(He resisted his creeping thoughts of Bizarre Jelly 5...)

Oh, and then another new guy in a strange get-up came up as well. Looks like things were getting even more lively.
