You know—and this has likely been said before—but I fear that GlitchMaster may well be the true final villain in the end; for one thing I get the feeling that GlitchMaster is making his/her/its (if I were to guess, I'd likely guess that GlitchMaster is genderless) own plans, behind the Nightmare Knight's back.

The thing that prompts me to post this is that, looking at that page that Lordof Lore just linked to, I notice that while the other Disaster Masters all have fairly fun, pastel colour-palettes, GlitchMaster's (presumed) stone has a stark, classicly-evil colour scheme: blood red on pitch black.

For a recap, you guys might want to read from here on until the person of interest disappears.

Come to think of it, that black-and-red disaster stone also looks unusually technology-related compared to the others. All the rest look nature-themed in some way or another. A power icon is way out of place.

I think Glitchmaster is a girl, since I remember Gigi responding to an ask if there would be any more female Disaster Masters with "We've already met one".

Wait, you guys seriously thought The Nightmare Knight wasn't doing all that?

That explains everything. You see, I thought that was KN doing all that and he was just showing off how powerful he was. I had never ever interpreted that as a separate entity. I mean he said that Noisemaster and Mutemaster held a fraction of his power, I thought that meant KN used a tiny amount of his power to make them.

Did the air quotes at the bottom of the page not give it away

Except...

• The font here is way different.
• He somehow became 32 bit and pixelated
• He has to that point never directly attacked the gang
• This page is KN and Cucumber speaking of 2 different events.

I would have thought the different style of text balloons would have tipped you off. Oh well, I suppose not everyone notices such relatively minor details.

So I'm not supposed to believe he was merely exerting a different sort of power? I mean we don't know the full extent of what he was able to do. I thought the pixel powers was him going above and beyond his normal exertion an displaying a darker and more dangerous side.

Looking at the two, there's actually some subtle differences in their appearances. NK has yellow eyes, GM has red. And only the Nightmare Knight has shoulder spikes and a star on his chest.

It's fine to not get this stuff the first time around. When the page first came out, some people were kind of wondering what was up, and if it really was the NK's doing.

Yeah, whoever or whatever Glitchmaster is, he's probably the most powerful of the Disaster Masters and most definitely not working with NK. It also suggests that Cosmo might be more important than we'd thought.

And I'm going to guess Glitchmaster is actually a she, for aforementioned reasons.

@ Moth13: After reading your post, I re-read that scene, and just like you said, NK is missing his chest emblem, shoulder-spikes and normal eye color. Comparison: NK VS. NK

What I want to know is what Mr. Glitch's got to do with Rosey.

No, I was aimagining a very cold and impartial male voice with a hint of mocking.

I don't think Glitchmaster is being sincere at all. It's almost as though they're pretending to care.

Well, that answers that.

Since Nightmare Knight and Rosemaster already seem to have a genuine Villainous Friendship, I think you're probably right. I don't trust Glitchmaster one bit.
