And the page comment's quiet again...
Nobody's buying it, NK.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Actually, Almond bought it and rated it five stars already.
Do we have a trope for when a character experiences fear the first time in their entire life? That's kinda what I'm getting from Almond's expression.
Also, crossing my fingers for {{Chekhov's Gun}} to save their skins.

...Is he breaking the comic's own panels there. That's hardcore.
... And Almond is actually hanging from a panel!
I know that's just for stylistic sake, but... holy mackerel. I think this is my favorite page.

Either way, I think it's one of the more heroic things that Sir Carrot has attempted yet!
Speaking of the princess, KN still has a letter to deliver, doesn't he?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Again, I have to ask: Do we have a trope for when someone feels fear for the first time in their life?
That seems to be about sensory "feelings", if I'm reading the page correctly.
From what I see, What Is This Feeling? seems to be the over-arching trope for experiencing an emotion for the first time.
[edit] Actually, no, First Time Feeling does mention emotions—it looks as though What Is This Feeling? is about the character's reaction—my mistake!

My Games & WritingThis isn't the first time Almond's been afraid anyway. She's shown fear tons of times. remember Mutemaster? remember the noise blaster? Remember when they were attacked on the way to the flower kingdom?
Well, he is sort of right.(NK still hasn't left the letter yet, right?)
...poor carrot
Sir Carrot may be more of a traditional maiden than Parfait.
That's not necessarily a bad thing, I think.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...It's not a bad thing, but it raises the question of how he became a knight in the first place. He's clearly out of his element when it comes to being a brave protector of friends and the innocent., when he is clearly the innocent that needs to be protected.
Admittedly, it also raises the question of how Bacon became a knight, but come one, when was the last time Carrot held his spear?
I just realized what that sounded like and that wasn't an innuendo.
I mean if any kingdom wants to be safe it seems to me that the obvious solution is to clone Almond.
The Blog The ArtHe became a knight because his girlfriend is a princess.
Tomato became a knight. The standards for knighthood are clearly not very high.
Word of God is that the king has really low knighting standards.
Whoops, time to put my evil overlord mask back on.
