Honestly, I think that Nightmare Knight pretty much always need a hug (see: the conversation with Parfait); that want is just more visible on this page. :/

I wonder if this means the legendary hero business has always been a brother and sister thing.

• Cucumber is the first legendary hero to use magic instead of swords.
• Punisher Pumice is a live-action show that we'll apparently find out more about later
• Gherkin is the most likely CQ character to be voiced by Yuri Lowenthal

I'm wondering what role Peanut played to Gherkin, if she wasn't hero material herself. Judging by this comic's track record, such a description is only worthy of the most heroic of nonheroes.

Gigi apparently tweaked some dialogue in the previous two pages.

The thorny speech bubble in #526... did it used to be like that? I only noticed it now. It's a nice subtle way of emphasizing the tone of voice, even it it was otherwise clear enough in context.

Looks like the tweaks made the dialogue a bit less familiar and perhaps more paternalistic.

I didn't notice any changes. What were they?

I think that you may be right. Further, if I recall correctly, there was a suggestion that Glitchmaster was paying especial attention to Noisemaster's performance (pun intended :P). Between that and the hints that the Nightmare Knight might not be as black as he's painted, perhaps we'll end up with either an Enemy Mine or a Heel–Face Turn situation, with Glitchmaster taking over the place of Big Bad...

So you're saying Glitchmaster or someone else might be The Starscream? Could be fun! Especially if Glitchmaster thinks like a logical computer. We could have an A.I. Is a Crapshoot situation on our hands.

From what Rosemaster implied, he's not the only one who may be plotting something. Remember, Noisemaster tried to take things into his own hands, Rosemaster's depressed, and who knows with the rest. Splashmaster was just dumb to really understand anything though.

I might also add that constantly being defeated despite having wiped out your domain's royal family must be a pretty disheartening situation for a super-powered elemental. And to white, failing your (somewhat neglectful magical) father ninety-nine times over?

Of course she's not the happiest camper, and of course there is going to be dissent among the ranks. Add to that further that we really don't know what the Nightmare Knight actually wants at this point, or even what he wanted in the first place.
