There's a disco version, too.

I'm not fond of her vocals. I prefer Hayward's cover.
I love how it's almost 3 songs in one.

Am I the only one who thinks this fits with Spike's dramatic "NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" in the MLP:fim episode "Just For Sidekicks"? I mean, listen to the lyrics: ''I don't think I can take this/ Because it took so long to bake it/ And I'll never get that recipe/ AAAGGGGAAAAAIIINNN!/ OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!'' Just pointing it out.

The lyrics may be utterly ridiculous, but Richard Harris sings with such passion, such conviction, such longing, that the net effect is glorious. One of the greatest examples of Took the Bad Film Seriously.
