I fully expect Tira to be present in this game. Like I said before, I think with geralt speeking of portals, Zasalamel being present, and the fact that the first trailer showed scenes from every soulcal to date (except 4 I think?) I think we're gong through time.to help clear up some plot holes and some loose ends before moving forward once more.

I also expect Patroklos and/or Pyrrha to be in the game to cement this, seeing as they are the wone who tried destroying both swords last time. Probably opened up some timey wimey Astral Chaos BS and thats why we're back in the past.

Given how people responded to Patrokolos, I wouldn't be surprised if he does appear... In a cinematic where it shows him being decapitated by a villain during a bad future.

Nor would I.

That being said, if their actions did result in retconning the past, I doubt either of them would mind. Hell, I think that even if that future resulted in them not existing, they'd be ok as long as their mom survived.

They could make Pyrrha into Lucina/Future Trunks where she goes back in time to stop a bad future.

Considering they found it amusing how unpopular Pat is, they could start doing what Mortal Kombat's been doing to its least popular characters & just do pisstakes at them whenever they get the chance.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable Maxi announcement... gotta say though, seeing my main man Sieg as part of the initial roster surprised me. I thought he was just gonna be a Nightmare alt or something.

When Maxi does make it in the game & if they really did decided to make him gay, I hope they won't be on the nose about his sexuality.

Reiko Kazama: Siegfried was a separate character in the original Soul Calibur I as well. The only instance where he wasn't was SCII.

It's referencing certain unlockable costumes:

"The player can receive an alternate costume 'Sophitia!', which is Sophitia with her armor from her bad ending. There is also Sophitia!!' Which is Sophitia wearing her swimsuit from her Good Ending."

"Siegfried had a secret costume entitled "Siegfried!", which made him appear as an early version of Nightmare in red armor. Originally, the developers of that game had considered using the alternate costumes as separate characters, but the idea was scrapped. Ironically, Siegfried is later made the 3rd costume of Nightmare in Soulcalibur II."

Yes, but her alternate ending isn't so much bad as it's just not inputting anything. Unless you consider said alternate ending just bad to begin with I guess.

If anyone besides me cares about the purely gameplay side of things, there's a playable build of SC6 at Combo Breaker 2018 and according to people there it has all the currently revealed members of the roster. There's going to be a character auction tournament tomorrow too for the game which should hopefully give us some substantial gameplay from everybody.

If you do get a chance to play it could you talk about the Reversal Edge?

lol, I'm not actually at Combo Breaker so don't ask me. I'm just gonna go with what people on Twitter/sites like SRK say. That said, I will be at EVO this year, and there's no way SC 6 won't be there, so I will be able to give my personal impressions on that day.

Calling it now. We're gonna see the story mode cinematic trailer and a bunch of new character reveals at the Microsoft press conference at E3.

Assuming the FF 7 characters being in the game is bs (which is pretty easy to believe) why Microsoft?

Because for whatever reason (Possibly business deals) Namco have shown trailers of their major titles at the Microsoft conference for the past few years. 2015 was Dark Souls III, 2016 was the debut of Tekken 7's story mode and 2017 was Dragon Ball Fighter Z being revealed. So following the pattern, it feels like they'll reveal Soul Calibur VI's story mode there this year.
