ITT: Haunted House

Okay, people. We are about to go inside.

I should warn you, though. When you go inside, things are most likely to get very weird.

You may enter the kitchen from the hallway then go back out only to find yourself in the bathroom or bedroom.

You can hear all sorts of sounds, but you won't be sure if anyone else can hear them unless someone else speak up.

You could even vanish without a trace.

So. -Opens door- You all ready?

Hell yes! -runs into house-

-Wry smile- Very well.

You may all enter at any time if you want to... But you come in at your own risk. Remember my warning.

-Steps into house-

Now the fun begins.

Hey, hey, wait up for me! -runs in after A Crack in Time-

Haunted house, huh? Awesome. I'll go get the proton packs.

What, you actually believe in all that stuff? I'm gonna be looking for the strings and sheets the moment the weird stuff kicks off. This is all staged, I bet.

Uh-huh. And it's all a conspiracy run by Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny to steal all the good will of any who enter this "hallowed ground". It's probably just because of how old this place is.

Before I set a foot in there I want to know what to expect. When and why was it built? How long has it been abandoned? What kind of "hauntings" did occur?

I'm not planning on walking through the door and landing in the cellar a second later.

Its always been haunted, even before it was built. It is not your normal haunted house.

I would be careful with hammers and such. They don't like it when you break their things.

-Record player starts playing again, only faster, making crackly sounds.-

What good would a hammer do against ghosts, though? I mean, you can swing it at anything they might throw, but you can't really take out the apparitions themselves. Not that they exist in the first place, mind.

Neat trick, but just a trick, I suspect. There's probably a hidden CD player nearby in case of things like this.
