Liked this episode. No complaints, kept me amused the entire time.
And I liked the clerk a lot. Until further notice I'm assuming she's Souma's sister. Yamada remains my favorite character though.
Her rant that ended with "And why won't he marry me!?" was epic.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntThis episode gave me my daily lulz-fix. Might watch it again, actually.
Yachiyo and Sato are still too funny. Though I did find it a little out of character for Yachiyo to be scared of talking to a shop clerk, since she's usually so good with people. Ah, whatever, it caused a funny scene.

This episode highlights what I love about working.
So, after reading the Working manga, I realized a few things. One, they severely increased the Inami/Takanashi moments, including making more or less an entire episode out of the date then it was basically just one chapter, and the chapters are only about 7 page yonkomas. Second, the manga does not actually appear to be ahead of the anime at all.
The manga is just a few months ahead in-universe from the TV series (at least that's what I understand from Volume 10). That said there's still a surprising amount of development, but again only in the Inami/Takanashi front. Have you glanced at the Seishunhen sidestories as well?
Well, only found three chapters of it. And no sight of Kirio so far. And only middle school Mitsuki and Youhei.
If I remember right (at work right now so don't have the manga on hand) Kirio only comes at around volume 8 or 9. The translations have barely scratched volume 7 at this point.
Chapter 169 (or was it 179?) is a turning point for both Inami/Takanashi and Satou/Yachiyo. Granted, it's not HUGE, but for a comedy like this it's still something.
Oh, and while the series seems to have started during winter of an undisclosed year, it's nowhere near autumn yet in the (manga) story.

New Ep is up.
More Souta x Mahiru but the bit Souta and Popura is nice "I doubted Souta-Kun and I am very Small" made me lol
HIDA!!!!At least it's not monopolizing the episodes to the degree it was last season. Anybody else wondering when Inami's mom figured out Souta was a guy? Glad to see we'll see some more of the Takanachi sisters next week.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanI like to think that she knew before he even showed up. I mean, it's not like Inami has any reason to hide it anymore.
And Yamada continues to be the best character.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxStrangely I think I like Satou's character the most. Maybe its the whole Liz Lemon Job feel he's got.
HIDA!!!!I don't really like Yamada that much. Feels a bit more annoying than fun. Souma and Satou are my favourites at this moment. And the Satou and Inami interaction at the beginning of the episode was gold.
Whoah, a completely Inami-focused episode. I was beginning to think that it had fallen out in favour of the partial shoo-ins every episode or so, but...

^Nah, they were saving it for the end, just like last season.
And wait, Inami's mom figured out that he was a guy? I thought she called him Takanashi because Inami had already mentioned to her parents that there was a Takanashi at work, so he stuck with that name around them.
It was the -kun that showed she knew it.
I believe Kotori was supposed to be "her" personal name. Notice how she corrected herself to "Takanachi-san".

Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanOh, and this show has the best Opening and Ending themes ever.
First one was better, but yeah, they have excellent ops/eds.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntThey're rather effective at cheering me up when I get pissed off about things.
Wait, so Inami's mom really figured out that Takanashi's a guy? /slowpoke

iM@S archive of materials. Why? Poplar is probably the least interesting character. (not that she's bad, mind, but I see no reason to see more of her)
When it comes to "She's tiny" jokes, Hagimura from Seitokai Yakuindomo did it better anyway. (love that arrow)

"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntNo kidding Suzu from Seitokai Yakuindomo is the winner,
Poplar is just too nice and prone to crying Vs
