So a bunch of people were clogging up an RP discussion with talk of this game, and now they've got me playing it.

So now I made this thread to stop the clogging.

Spain, would you do the honors?

Also, I'm fairly certain Sugar specializes in Spears and Drills.

You trying to break the weapon or lower their HP to 0?

Tried both, neither seems to be working.

Ah, just got the first game.

Use a drill (Attack, then hold down and attack works well) to break weapons.

Also: Razzy's knuckles are great weapon for a long time, with the few lightning resistant enemies. Uppercut (down+attack), punch, punch, uppercut, punch punch, uppercut is an infinite combo on most random encounters, and still pretty nice on most bosses.

It isn't acctually a Dual Boss, the other twin just casts spells that are really in your favor (healing when your attempting to weapon break)

Oh, you're talking about the first Swordcraft Story.

I beat that game with every player gender/partner combination, several times over.

The sequel even more so.

I was waiting for the DS game to get localized for a long time. Then i realized it DID get localized. And i still haven't gotten it. I am such a cruddy fan.

Anyways, does Pratty and Sugar really have as much Les Yay as people keep saying? Do Kutty and Zantek actually have any differing effects on the plot? Why does anyone ever play as Cleru? Why are you forced to multiclass between craft knight and edge fencer in the sequel? Since the original series was a strategy RPG, wouldn't the player characters in swordcraft be infinitely more powerful? Do any of the summon beasts have as much of a one-track mind as Loki? Can a hammer really forge a woman?

Answer me, random people on the internet! I DEMAND IT!

After I beat the first one sure.

We're helping Spain here with the two GBA games. Because we forced him and lockon to play.

Pratty and Sugar is still my favorite player/partner combo. Sugar is MORE flirty with her than with Cleru.

I love these games so much.

Well, we told Spain to play to redeem himself, and somehow planted the idea of playing in Lockon's subconscious thanks to sleep deprivation.
