Feddies, it's as the post says, you're free to pull back or keep going. There's no repairs and this isn't going to be a curb stomp against damaged retreating forces. If you pull through? Glory forever, but this is Aeris and if you do go through with it it might be handy to have a backup character written. You have been forwarned.

Cents: Ellen, Vinicio can continue their convo until they want to leave for duty. Salvec is obviously similarly free but I imagine afterwards he's going to be pulled into the hunt with Morgan.

Retreat is always an option.

Lilith's only in it for the combat.

Where would the fun be if she was the only one who retreated?

I mean if our next attack fails, we can always retreat.

Plus we have Yasan, Dennis, Mary, and the FNG. We should be fine.

Kara will continue her status as the one character that should be dead in any real story but just won't kick the bucket no matter how hard Faux tries. By the end of this everyone will have rerolled thirty times but Kara will be dodging nukes and shit.

Also Oni is the best Bungie game.

Calvin can't die because the women of the universe won't let him.

Which... Actually isn't too bad, explanation wise. My ears are actually pretty good, so if I'm not focusing on anything but listening (which she wasn't), I can usually pick up a good deal.

How far away is the other table? Because Ellen's the type of person that'd start an argument over patriotism. Not jingoistic, but... Idealistic.

Range Explanation; It used to mean more and I could retcon it to mean more, giving items 'ideal' ranges and penalties to firing outside it but I don't feel it necessary.

It serves mostly as a way of measuring distance, you can only engage someone at "Close Range" and you can't shoot anyone who is farther than "Long Range" and it costs one AP to travel one area of range.

Here, Left, Right and Center, adds and extra point of range which means Kiera and Kara would have to move before hitting someone on their right or left.

This is built up to be a challenge but I just threw a bunch of enemies against you. If it is overwhelming, do retreat. I'm testing waters here.

Well, retreat is for cowards. Give them a few human waves, and to the living goes the victory.

(But really. My imagination shifted from the mecha-tastic image of the city battle, to a brown, depressing, hopeless image of hundreds of frames marching past the twisted casualties of the last battle, towards a large citadel that's soon to be ringed by a mass graveyard.)

Last battle was more of a standard action movie.

The beginning of the last battle was more like "Shit, this'll be tough. I probably won't survive." but that quickly vanished when we started winning.

This feels like "We'll either be dead or heavily scarred by the end of this. The party at the end's going to be awesome, if we don't die."

Lilith's not expecting to live, if she has to go anywhere near intense fighting.

The last battle was you picking off the damaged and those too slow to run for safety.
