I heard from another site that it might be the 3DS, actually.
Why I am afraid of fences.YEAH!!
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Rare as a company is a zombie (they fired everyone and replaced with new people and then sent them to work on cheep Kinect games), so cautious.
Hurm...
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.I did enjoy Nuts & Bolts, so I think that they might be able to make a decent Banjo platformer if they tried.
Even Kinect Sports was rather enjoyable for me. I think that they're still quite skilled, they just waste that skill on the casual games market.
Why I am afraid of fences.So...all the Banjo portable titles were crap. Now someone wants to make another one.
I'll be holding out for some really good reviews before I consider trying one.

Eh, the previous portable titles were alright, so if this rumor happens to be true, then I'll give the future game a fair chance.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. There were portable Banjo games?
Grunty's Revenge for the GBA (Decent, not as good as 1/2 by a long shot, but very good for what it was), and a spinoff or two I haven't played.
I'd love to see a 3D version of Grunty's Revenge.
Why I am afraid of fences. What I disliked about B-K:G's R was that Banjo's eyes were brown. I know, I know, but still...
WHOO! B-K 3DS!
I, too, would love to see a fully 3D—and fully more difficult—version of Grunty's Revenge.
I like that game well enough, it's just really, really easy. Admittedly, the first Banjo game wasn't too difficult (Tooie was kind of a Sequel Difficulty Spike), but due GR's shortness (for which its medium is probably to blame), it just feels way too easy and short over most of it.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaIf we're lucky, they'll get a decent developer on board. Current Rare's now an In Name Only Wii Sports rip-off factory, so that might not be a bright idea if most of the team is gone.
Something has always bothered me about Rare's games being on the DS. If Nintendo can approve of them being on the DS, why not on the consoles? I'm aware that Rare is owned by Microsoft but cant Nintendo and Microsoft work something out?
Exclusivity. If Microsoft doesn't have something exclusive, there's not much reason for them to own Rare. Also, they don't do handhelds, so allowing Rare to put stuff on the DS doesn't really create any competition to something they already provide.

Rumors running around that Microsoft will be bringing Banjo Kazooie to the DS. Microsoft certainly loves putting its I Ps on the DS (Viva Pinata, Age Of Empires, etc.)
