It's only polite to throw them a decent funeral.

Wulf didn't kill many, Gwion killed one who had a knife (Glock-boy may be dead by now, but was alive when last seen), Flamist incinerated one. All the rest should still be alive though somewhat worse for wear after being smashed in the face, thrown on the floor, pepper-sprayed and otherwise beaten up.

Wulf only got one confirmed kill. The first two in the hall were thrown off balance/minor trauma. The third suffered some trauma to the solar plexus and a dislocated knee.

The fourth he jumped on suffered quite a few broken bones and some peripheral lacerations but the other guy shot before Wulf could finish him. The shooter he did kill, and the rifle guy could have been killed or anything in-between really, I intentionally left his fate vague, wounded at least.

So, is it safe to say the survivors might consider more legitimate ways to get along in life after a day like that?

Edit: Regarding casual threads (as is the case for Mountain Resort), is it still permissible for characters to discuss backstory if it happens to be a Dark and Troubled Past?

Yeah. The 'casual' nature of the thread mostly just pertains to what the characters actually do during the thread; basically, no physical fights except for in designated areas. (Verbal fights, on the other hand...)

Given they thought they had the group outnumbered and surrounded and not all of the group engaged in active combat, I'd think they'd at least reassess their strategies when dealing with more than, say, one frail old man with dark glasses and white cane...

The state half the group are in, all three of those could walk right over them and they wouldn't notice.

I hope there's a covered outdoor area like a porch or veranda so Gwion can duck out for a ciggy

Darkblood: It's been a while. I mentioned a few pages ago in this thread that if no one else posted, I was just going to quietly Time Skip Sito out of the arena and leave the outcome of the fight ambiguous. I haven't done anything yet, but KC never responded to that, soooo.

Is it just me, or has it been 5:00 PM in Capital for a while?

One thing that the group should note. The state of the bandit Flamist hit is thus:

The group, should they see him, will see a ragged scorched-white skeleton. His stomach and chest will be completely burned away, and they'll see what looks to be a large pile of burnt paper scraps inside the cavity.

His face will not be as severely burned, and one will instead be able to see the skin and his mouth open wide in a scream. His eyes and tongue, however, will be burned out.

His legs are in a similar condition to his face, but most of his pants are burned away.

Me informing you of this is to make sure that if any of the crew are sensitive to gruesome sights like that, that they can react appropriately.

As of now the time's been changing every six pages. It last changed on page 37; it's due to change again on page 43, which isn't that far off.

Also, @Solip: It was Samantha who asked David that question, not Sophie. Minor nitpick.

Oops. and there was a sentence that got its own paragraph just to make that clear, too. Fixing now.

No worries, no worries. I think I have an idea on how to end the Arena situation more quickly so we can move our characters on. Should've done it earlier, to be honest. Should I go ahead and do it or wait for someone else to post? (Or did I miss something and you actually were waiting on me? )

Flamist is healing but slowly, as per the spell. The house does have a porch, right outside the living room. I'll show a sketch of the floor plan later when I have the time.

Just a note here in case it gets overlooked (I tend to only skim posts that aren't from folks I'm actively interacting with): I made a post in the 82nd floor conference room, for Garkin and Qrlil.
