Character Development Thread--Discussion

I probably can't join until Wednesday the 21st (and I am going to join this time, because there's a couple of characters I'm really itching to practice writing). But I don't like joining in at the very beginning anyway, so that sounds fine.

I'll be busy studying for finals and writing some reports, but like Nrjxll, I don't often join in during the beginning anyways, so I'll bide my time a bit.

Also, I'm celebrating a friend's birthday today, so I won't be available for 4-5 hours. Later!

I like to be in from the beginning, and Friday would be awesome for me. Can't wait.

I am, as always, usually not available Saturday, but I'm not usually first in.

I've been trying to post all day, but I'm almost completely braindead.

On the plus side I did finish the OP for Inn, so there's that at least.

Question, KC: Just how did Aseyu go right from the Ruins Entrance to inside the library with no midpoint?

For that matter, I'm not even certain the group should even be able to tell it's a library from that distance. At least, I didn't think the ruins were that small.

I added in that Kunstler checked briefly at some point that isn't shown, and that he saw books, but didn't go further because he didn't want to smoke around them.

I feel on the verge of passing out, so I might not get the chance to respond this evening.

Well, one would certainly hope that you'd consider getting that taken care of more important than a forum RP.

I was just up a little late last night studying. The sleepiness comes and goes in waves. And I'm just mentioning it to let people know not to expect anything.

Would have posted sooner today, but a half hour after I get an email announcing that my morning class has been cancelled (around 8 A.M.), the power goes out, and it's stayed out for close to 7 hours. Too hot to do much outside either... egh.

Unable to post currently, and perhaps for some time, due to possible pending evacuation because of wildfires near my location.

Anyway, I've finally gotten a Kaguya post in Archipelago. I have no idea why that was so difficult to come up with something for. ._.

On that note: I'm not sure how many of you are actually watching that conversation, but there's something I'm somewhat concerned about that I'd like to ask the outside observers: Does it look too much like Kaguya is crushing on Cyana?

I really wasn't aiming for that; what I was trying to convey was that she was feeling awkward that someone was listening to her speak to the moon and is taking a while to get used to Cyana, coupled with the fact that she's currently standing on the moon's surface when that was something she never thought she'd get the chance to do.

Yikes! I've had to evacuate because of big wildfires before. I was lucky enough that our house didn't burn down, but it was a strange several days. Looks like I'm mostly safe from this one, and they've learned a lot with how to handle these since 07.

@Night: Sorry to hear that - hope everything's okay! Also, no rush from me whatsoever.

@Yomegami: I really didn't get that impression from Kaguya at all, so I don't think there's any problem. And don't worry, Cyana already has a love interest, although I doubt we'll be seeing him in a CDT anytime soon.

Well, I'm not doing an impression of Owen Lars (kudos if you get the reference), so that's a plus.

It's up to five active fires in the county now, but none are currently burning near enough to demand my constant attention. Posting will be sporadic, but resume.

Glad things are looking better. Hopefully it gets settled for good before too long.

@Night: Glad to hear you haven't been fried by stormtroopers yet!

Just so everyone is aware, I'm planning on launching Inn tomorrow at 6 PM (GMT -4:00, or UTC -5:00). Anyone have any objections?

On Archipelago: The group at the library don't have to wait for my character (Selena, in this case) to catch up to them; if nothing else, it'll probably be a while before she gets out of the Big Kahuna.

Also, is it just me, or does Archipelago feel like it's on life support?
