I noticed, but they seem to be in a separate group.

@TroPartner: I don't think you've missed anything. Looks like we're waiting on Blackfire and Ryuhza at the moment.

On a related note: Gault, are you still there?

Still a great "screw depression" song even after seven years.

Any thought on my suggestion about making note of where the characters are on the thread's page and editing it when we move them to other locations.

In the case of Main Street and other places where there we have more than one group, we might have to do "Group 1", "Group 2" etc.

Either a separate list of locations with just the names of the people at them

e.g.

• Water Tower - Northwestern Desert
  • Gwion (Wolf1066)
  • Alpha (Wolf1066)
  • Henry (Mrship21)
• Main Street
  • Group 1

or put the name lists underneath the descriptions of the locations themselves.

e.g.

General Store

Although a number of more specialized stores such as a gun shop and livery can be found nearby, the General Store is the place where most visitors planning to explore the wilderness do their shopping for supplies. It is surprisingly large and well-organized, and is run by a friendly and garrulous proprietor.

Active Characters:

• Bill Smith (Wolf1066)

Whaddya think?

If need be, we could always put the things we've got under "Active Troper Characters", complete with the links to their first appearance and descriptions, under location headings so you can see not only who's active, but where they are.

That might be a good idea, actually. I'd prefer to keep all the location tags in the same place to make things easier.

Perhaps under the "Active Troper Characters" folder, then. Just put headings and subheadings for the locations and people can move their Characters between them easily.

It means that people would have to ensure they maintain that page but it seems like a lot less work than having to write a "where everyone's at" post in this thread every now and then when everyone loses track of who is where with whom.

Tying it to the Active Troper Characters list also means that newcomers to the thread can instantly see what locations have active participants and find the links to the characters' first appearance/descriptions at the same time.

Suggestion for format:

Double ! for Main Location (e.g. Northwestern Desert, Main Street, etc), triple ! for sublocations and groups under those main locations (The Tipsy Toad, "Outside Sheriff's Office" etc) and perhaps Bold face if there are two or more distinct groups of characters in a single (sub)location.

Meant to have the seller say more in my last post, but I was kinds pinched for time.

On another note, I haven't posted in Froniter in basically forever and I feel a little guilty about it. I'm not really feeling it for posting for Azuhl anymore, so can someone move him to the inactive characters, since I'm gonna be on mobile for a bit? EDIT: Did it myself, it's a pain on mobile though.

I can't make any promises (and I shouldn't), but I do want to add another character, so something next week if I'm lucky.

It's getting kind of late here so I'll start a reply for Samuel and Todd, but write the full one and post tomorrow after Ryuhza posts.

Life is hard, that's why no one survives.

Plenty of rest and fluids and remember: a whiskey might help deal with a prolonged bout of cold or flu but there's no cure for a prolonged bout of whiskey...
