Do any of these ideas have potential?

Recently, I've had several ideas for television series. Let me know what you think about them:

1. A sitcom about a group of actors, their director, and the backstage folks. Plays would cover anywhere from one to four episodes, so time would pass quickly. It wouldn't necessarily be concentrated on a theater, either–people would interact at various festivals and day jobs, as well.

2. A poor man in Detroit runs into a blind ex-government agent, who tells him that someone has stolen a suitcase filled with proprietary pills that grant someone immense abilities for five minutes, at immense cost. (Example: A piano player takes a pill to fully concentrate on his piece, and plays with divine skill for two minutes until he dies because he forgot to breathe). They've already started to distribute the pills, and the protagonist (in exchange for a vast amount of help for his family) needs to track down who did it along with the remaining pills.

3. A vigilante is contacted by an archangel to become a Godly avatar, tracking down devils and others who would defy the holy works. Halfway into the first episode, he runs into another guy who's the divine avatar of Vishnu. It then becomes a buddy "cop" show.

Well, number one is kind of like 30 Rock and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (except with theatre), so that type of idea has been executed well before.

The third one sounds interesting, if you remember to make a lot of references to Hindu mythology and use some elements accuracly but in a funny way.

  1. 3 Is the Spectre. He's a famous DC comic book character. Possible, but beware of the "Y is copying X!" crowd.

2. Is a bit like Hour-Man, though with different pills.

3. Is indeed the Spectre, who did pair with the Phantom Stranger from time to time, or a bit of Hellblazer.
