And just for bonus points: Zoe is voiced by Monica Rial.
Come to realize it...the main theme of the game is actually quite nice and touching.
It took a bit of time to grow on me, but now it just makes me awwwww.
Every one of the boss rooms has a unique name, i think.
I think.
I know Zoe's is the Spookhouse Lookout. Ethan's is the Gear Garage. Unfortunately I didn't catch the others, though it seems that Priscilla's has no special name—the map just says "Primhedge Palace".

I've just been told that Meade's battle room is named "Scratch Pit Arena". Courtesy of Unknown Entity.
Now we're just missing Deanu's.

That boss theme was really great. The boss herself was pretty tough too.
Unfortunately, UE missed Deanu's boss room name. So so far, we know this:
- Meade: Scratch Pit Arena
- Deanu: (unknown)
- Zoe: Spookhouse Lookout
- Ethan: Gear Garage
- Priscilla: Primhedge Palace (no change)
Well, that's another reason to get someone to play the game, I guess!

The Monster Tale OST has been released! Now featuring actual track names!

This is basically a recently-released DS metroidvania with a significant mon-raising component to it. Pretty nice game; you should check it out.
The music is...okay, I guess. It's either very contrapuntal but insufficiently attentive of harmony, or it's very electronica/techno influenced in terms of building on small snippets of rhythm or melody repeated over and over again. Not quite my style.
That said, Zoe's battle theme puts the latter style together quite well.
One cool feature of the boss themes is that they usually feature a motif from their boss's character theme, a general boss motif, or both. Zoe's theme has both. And it combines them in a really nice action track.
In fact, it was the first place I heard the boss motif itself. It's also in Meade's battle theme but I didn't notice it then. The boss motif is this awesome thing involving i VI VII in minor, repeated.
Unfortunately, Deanu's battle theme doesn't feature either a character motif or a boss motif. So to get to this awesomeness you'll have to get to the end of the third area of the game, to go to the very top of the Treehouse Grotto in Zoetopia—the room known as the Spookhouse Lookout—in order to meet Zoe again.
But don't worry, the Treehouse Grotto theme is ALSO awesome.
(Also unfortunately, the soundtrack is not available for listening on Youtube. But it is available, in another format, from another source.)
