What the hell did I just watch?

The best show of the freaking season!

I must admit, a 30-something aestethe is certainly an unusal anime protagonist.

So, episode 2 is out. It's still pretty good, and there doesn't seem to be a plot in sight yet.

The series is supposed to be 39 episodes long, though, so I guess it can stand to have a slower pace (also, it's Bee Train).

Hahaha what? In this age of 1-cour anime, this manages to secure enough funding for thirty-nine freaking episodes?

Well, not that I'm complaining as long as they can keep the quality up. I've missed Kouji Ohkura ever since his performance as Amarao.

Hideyoshi and Mitsuhide scheming probably just a background, instead of plot. isn't the real plot is " Sengoku- Era Aesthete Slice of Life " ?

Well, I don't read the manga, so I wouldn't know, but it's still possible for it to have a plot. There's only been 4 episodes out of 39, and Bee Train is famous for glacial pacing in most of their shows.

Has it really been nearly a month since the last subbed episode? aaagh... At least I got three more episodes of this than I did of Showa Monogatari.

Well. Huzzah did say that they were going to have a much longer release schedule due to exams. Hopefully someone will pick this up if they drop it.

Raw is already ep10. subbed still at ep4. so its already 6 episode late. Hopefully their exam will finish soon.

Not really following anime this year but this looks like an awesome change from the usual fare.
