For me, that was an awesome ending. This is now one of my personal favorite animes. Though I could see why it would seem a bit narmy to some people, but it was just fine for me.

I thought it was very good. A satisfying conclusion.

After having slept and relaxed... I still start getting teary-eyed when I think about the end. >_<

I haven't seen to many sad anime(s), so i'm not too accustomed to having anime make me cry, but this one did. But it felt good i guess.

Eh, it wasn't bad, and it had some nice moments, but the end went over-the-top and into Narm territory for me.

It doesen't help that the entire thing proceeded pretty much exactly as expected from the start. There wasn't any deviation from the formula at all. Which is almost unexpected enough to count as a twist :p

Well done, but nothing I've not seen before.

This last episode was funny and sad at the same time... I like that. smile

And the name of the flower is sort-of confirmed.

All-in-all a nice show to end my night with.

Well, I watched the last episode.

Reading subtitles while crying is hard.

Oh, speaking of: There were a few too many people on Twitter saying that they were trying not to cry at the end. Wasn't the whole point of the show about being able to just cry?

[up]

Yeah, that's exactly the point. I was fine up until they starting reading the letters. And all restraint was gone when Jintan read his. It felt good.

It especialy got me because in Cross Game (Koh and Jintan share the same seiyuu) when Wakaba dies, Koh isn't sure what to do, and in the end he realizes that all he has to do, is cry. :(

That's when I really started to choke up.

So now that its all over, how with this show remain in your memory? Is it a show that you will delete and forget about, or is it one of those shows that will stand out as one of the best of a season?

I will certainly remember it, I would probably consider it the third best show this season, behind Steins Gate and Tiger And Bunny.

I dunno. I just liked this show. Whether it'll be forgotten or something is up to time to decide.

I don't think I'd forget about this though. Spring season in general had really good shows, and this one was no exception. And besides I have a pretty good memory. tongue

If I ever forget this show I will be disappointed in myself.

It'll be lodged in the gallery of "fairly good but not spectacular" shows.

Honestly, in a lot of ways I think Cross Game did the entire thing better.

This is probably one of the shows I'll remember most, though as I said earlier, my experience of watching this show was probably different from most's.

Finally got around to watching the last episode (because of Internet issues)... and well, the delay somehow made me less able to empathize with it. Didn't feel like crying at all. Oh, well.

(I initially thought this was the best show of the season. It's now downgraded to "one of the fairly good shows of the season", together with Tiger And Bunny and Hanasaku Iroha, but below Steins Gate.)

To me, Ano Hana is the best, Tiger And Bunny is second, and Hanasaku Iroha and Steins Gate are tied for a distant third.

For me Hanasaku Iroha is the best by far, followed by Tiger & Bunny, and Ano Hana and Steins Gate as distant shared thirds.

This is still my favorite of Spring. The one that slipped for me was Denpa Onna.

That's the second best anime I've ever seen!

I was totally blubbering through the entire series.

It kinda felt like a reconstruction almost. It didn't do anything new or revolutionary, but it was powerful BECAUSE it was predictable, y'know?

Sadly, it had such a strong sense of clousure that a second season isn't likely.

Yeah, this series needs to NOT have a second season. Period.
