Yeah, today was not a good day. Sorry you had to see all that, Des.

Well, I'm sure we'll all manage. I've gone through the AGoG September shitstorm, I'll get through this as well.

Also, Des, I'm really sorry I wasn't here earlier despite saying I was going to be. I was busy (and still am) working on some mythology summarizations. So far it's been about five hours, but I'm close to done.

Which mythology, Onion?

Pointing out the difference in the writing of the writers of the early Greek myths, descriptions of all the notable Titans and gods, brief descriptions of the minor gods, identifying different elements of the underworld and writing a bit about each, the story of Demeter and Persephone, the worship of Dionysus, the Eleusinian Mysteries, the Greek creation of the universe, the five races of mankind, the stories of Pandora, Prometheus, and Deucalion and Pyrrha, Hera punishing Argus, Zeus and Europa, the flowers of the Greek myths, specifically the narcissus, the hyacinth, and the adonis, the punishment of Echo (which goes along with Narcissus), Cupid and Psyche, Pyramus and Thisbe, Orpheus, Pygmalion and Galatea, summarizing the adventures of Perseus, Theseus, Hercules, and Atalanta, and then the Trojan War and the fall of Troy.

And then some Norse myths.

I had asked my to-be English teacher if I could do some extra work over the summer, but admittedly I didn't know just how much it would be.

Yeah, mythology is pretty cool. He could've told me to write half a dozen essays but instead I got to read some nice myths~ Most of them I knew already, though, and the ones I didn't weren't particularly interesting, but eh.

I don't know. I asked for extra work and he decided how much to give me. Mostly I asked for it because I can't take any official advanced English classes as a freshman so I wanted to get more work some other way.

It's fine, Onion. BTW, everyone else: one thing we can learn from Luke leaving is that if people are starting to scream Arc Fatigue, that arc should be ended even if means Hand Waves.

It seems to me that part of it was Arc Fatigue with PMD. But I may be mistaken — it is past midnight here after all.

Nope, it wasn't because of that. I don't really care that he left, honestly. (Although the fact that he earlier today admitted that he hates me might have something to do with why I feel that way. Not that that came as a surprise to me, I've been suspecting that to be the case for a while now.)

[up][up] I left because the last FOUR MONTHS essentially amounted to nothing for me. This stupid arc wasted the time I could have spent doing things with everyone else, because they were too busy doing their own thing while I was trying to scrape together anything I could do myself.

So forgive me if I'm a bit unhappy about having a whole lot of time wasted.
