Question - Could I get approval for a Delta?
I want Gabrielle's Porygon-Z Zelel to be a Normal/Fairy type with Moonblast and possibly Crafty Shield.

"Dang that sure is totally poggers my good bitch"A concept for the advancement of Rossum and really their top level technology in terms of Robotics. Androids meant to look and act human, I promise they aren't sapient beings, in this case rather cleverly designed and programmed as to not be recognized at first.
Any issues or changes to these machines? Things I should watch out for if I am to use them at all.
Re:plicants
Honestly, I am... very hesitant on the idea of them existing. Humanesque, definitely not-Pokemon robots in a setting that's supposed to be largely about Pokemon is something I'm not a fan of, especially considering one of our most notorious Terribad Player Characters was exactly that. I'm all right with ones piloted by, say, Porygon or Rotom, but without something indicating that it's supposed to fit in the world, I'm against it.

I can understand being worried
I completely echo Bitters, TBH
Contact Me!That's understandable, this is a idea I'd like to workshop and work out to make work. If we can't make it work, that's fine I've got other ideas.
The idea is that these are meant to represent how out of touch Rossum is with a element of paranoia, successful or not. Machines meant to replace the J-Team or discredit them, a full on manifestation of their ideas of a world that doesn't need pokemon.
Another aspect is to continue their subterfuge theme, how they are desperate not to be seen by the public at all for fear of being caught and faced with the J-Team which they are certain they would not survive a head on confrontation.

I'd really prefer they don't exist.
I'm done here. You know, they could be lifelike robots controlled by Porygons and/or Dittos.
"Dang that sure is totally poggers my good bitch"Entirely possible. Porygon AI has proven to be a thing in universe so.
ON A COMPLETELY DIFFRENT NOTE
You probably saw the EXPLOSIVE-
Siivagunner: <Technically it was an implosion.>
Quiet you.
Siivagunner: <Hey, somebody's gotta pick up the slack while Gino and Alduin and such are in prison.>
aaaanyway if you've seen the implosive end of Operation Legacy, you probably know I am doing a new big personal arc for The Entralink Is Done With Your Shit. I am tentatively calling it:
Project Multipath Traveller
(Props to a certain Square Enix game with a nice demo out right now for this thing's beta name inspiration.)
Again, this is mostly going to be winged to heck and back aside from a few looser plans subject to change like last time; however to maintain a semblance of coherency I may have made a list of character goals to set them all on the right path here. Feel free to make suggestions.
Anyway, while this is my personal plot, you guys all come in here in the following ways:
Locke's Timeline Tumble
I'll spoil it now, Locke and co. (minus Alli and Gudrunn since I have plans for them) wound up in the AU as their first pit stop. And while they have Soujin with them as a source of interaction with other people, the trip as mentioned before is meant to be kind of a "where are they now" for the AU as a whole, so I'll be glad to have others interacting with them if they're willing to volunteer. So, hit me up! Or just say so here.
Sideplot Scramble
I have a lot of moving peices here, all of them with a coherent end goal but flexible means of getting there. And one thing that could help the getting there is getting involved in other people's plots. So, once my little hiatus ends I'll be fairly open to plopping my chars into any subplots that tickle my fancy... Though with The Entralink Is Done With Your Shit coming up I'm hoping to see more miniarc ideas! I know I have a couple in mind I wanna run by people, and Tangent and I have a plan for how the Entralink arc as a whole gets started...
...But thoughts? :P
Contact Me!So I want to make a mini arc of my own, where Krieg is slowly getting taken over by the fragment of 817 and most of the time when he is unconscious the fragment takes over Krieg's body, and Frieden has to find a way to stop it.
It's about trust, mind games, and the desperate attempt to differentiate which one Frieden is talking to with the help of Pokemons and tools. Fireden may request help from the people that went to get the medallion to try to find out about why the medallion exists. Basically a bit of a thriller plot.
Any thoughts?
My heart and actions are utterly unclouded. They are all those of 'Justice'.Umbra: Question. Would it be fine if I get Kage to interact with them, sort of as his introduction?
You see, I mistook this for some kind of... sentient garbage. With Locke and Co.? Keep in mind they're trapped in an AU (the RP's first main AU, actually,) so Kage would have to use Mobius resources to find them.
Contact Me!I could probably have a certain turncoat Jerk Dragon turn up for the AU part of this multiverse adventure. I was pondering having a specific other version of the same turn up during multiverse shenanigans but yeah.
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.Well, Kage is a moderator. It could be something like a routine check, to make sure everything's going... as smoothly as it can in the AU.
You see, I mistook this for some kind of... sentient garbage.Sure thing!
Also sure thing!
ALSO
Swift: I'm fine with that.
Lawlight: If it is a more personal thing in terms of the 817 aspect's involvement I am also fine with it depending on what others say

Contact Me!Umbra:
I like this plot.
Tempted to have AU!Shaun exist, but...
"Dang that sure is totally poggers my good bitch"I think I may have come to a conclusion that keeps things in character for Rossum. They are meant to be somewhat out of touch so the Replicant plan would have never fully worked.
But since Porygon are purely digital beings and were constructed in Pokemon as AI programs, I feel we can justify Rossum using them with little problems.
There won't be many replicants, some aren't even fully indicative of the name, and I don't think I'll have them even replace the J-Team.
We have precedent for android bodies run by Porygons in universe. Any other issues I should correct?
EDIT: Any and all replacements of the J-Team are entirely opt in, I will not make any replicant characters of players who have not talked to me about it.

That sounds more reasonable, yeah. It's still up in the air whether I'll opt my characters in for it, but I'm fine with that reworked idea.
I'm still iffy. It's honestly the "a bunch of robots run around trying to replace people" part that's got me uncomfortable, not so much the base nature of said robots. It sounds kinda plot-derailing and... I dunno how to phrase this... puts the P Cs in the wrong kind of peril? I mean attempted murder or kidnapping by robot replacements sounds kinda dark for this RP.

Contact Me!Who said it was attempted Murder? Rossum wants to study the J-Team and find out more, not kill em.
Umbra: It's on an opt-in basis, so anyone who doesn't want their characters involved... doesn't get their characters involved.
OK, after getting some stuff cleared up here and in the chats I am A-OK with this version of the idea. 👍
Also, have a character bio teased in the Operation Legacy finale!
Name: Gabriel Higgins, Gabe for short
Age: 19
Gender: Trans Male
Ethnicity: Ambiguous
Appearance: Pale, wears messy eyeliner and all black, "edgy" punk/goth clothing, has messy black hair with baby pink bangs
Organizational Ties: None
Region: Unknown
Bio: Gabe is a case of not one to be judged by looks alone. Despite looking and dressing like an edgy, angsty JRPG protagonist, he's perky, friendly, and somewhat naive, only taking the look he does out of a desire to look cool (and because one of his mons insists on it). However, he's tight-lipped about his past, seems to be on some mission no one else can ascertain exactly, and treats a lot of things the WAAP Tverse takes for granted as rather exotic...
Pokemon:
Facet (Starter)
Species: Carbink
Gender: Genderless, male-leaning
Ability: Clear Body
Bio: Overemotional and dramatic, Facet is a fan of all things aesthetically gloomy. He's one source of his Trainer's distinct look.
Green Thumb
Species: Comfey
Gender: Female
Ability: Flower Veil
Bio: A cheerful mon interested in botany, enthusiastic about plants and Grass-type Pokemon... and insecure she is not a Grass-type herself
Mandible
Species: Mawile
Gender: Male
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Bio: Jumpy and a born coward, Mandible prefers scaring people away with his jaws over fighting, which rarely works. He hopes to eventually get a Mawilite and Mega Evolve to get over this.
Cotton
Species: Whimsicott
Gender: Female
Ability: Prankster
Bio: An aspiring master spy, Cotton frequently goes on stealth missions on behalf of her Trainer. She's too loud to be any good at it, though.
Plauge Doktor
Species: Aromatisse
Gender: Male
Ability: Healer
Bio: Basically the Medic from TF 2. Uses his perfumes to ubercharge others.
Pudding
Species: Wigglytuff
Gender: Female
Ability: Competitive
Bio: Friendly, but also eccentric and morbid. Feels a bit lonely as a result, however.
Thoughts? :P
Contact Me!I like~ I'm very interested in learning about his DEEP DARK SECRET PAST(TM) o3o
Totally unrelated note that I was just reminded about, one of my non-WAAPT (Tumblr RP) friends inspired an idea for what to do with the third and final Type: Null — that is, that Looker now has it, since his previous partner Pokemon died is gone. Just a silly idea I was wondering if we could adapt it into WAAPT :P
I'm cool with Avenger. I'll go with the majority on Aftershock.
