Sorry, didn't meant to make you cringe. It's just that i don't care a lot about my sexual orientation right now, so I write (what i think is) silly stuff each time someone asks me about this.

Ah, I see. That does put me at ease a bit, but please still be a bit more careful with it because it's a very, very fine line. Especially if you don't understand the gender part (and the fact that it's a separate spectrum from sexuality entirely)

Yeah, a common misconception is that sexuality and gender identity have any bearing on one another when they don't in the slightest. It's entirely posssible to have a genderfluid asexual (like Bitters up there IIRC?), a pansexual nonbinary/agender person, etc, etc, etc.

Sometimes I feel like my straight cis-maleness makes me WAAPT's Token Minority. This must be how LGBT people feel most of the time.

On the subject of usernames, I used to go by awesome860.

You can probably tell why I changed it, even for a young me it was kinda...upity. As for Skyzerk, I just went with a mix of Sky and Berzerk, first used it on DN when it was still up, just sorta stuck with me.

I actually forgot how I got Etran, to be honest.

Uill, Sky: To be fair, WAAPT being an LGBT+-heavy RP just kind of... happened. Mezzo actiually felt "token" in the early days but then people started coming out in spades (like me) and more people already identifying as LGBT+ from the start started joining and no one knows particularly why.

: Probably just one of those odd coincidences.

While it's probably a good thing that the community is so open to that coincidence,I have to admit that sometimes I feel a bit unable to connect with other WAAPTers because of that too -Uill hugs-

On a more positive note, I got my 2nd gym badge in Pokemon X while I was out of town, hoping to beat the main game by the 18th, also did a bunch of Pokemon Go while I was at it since I don't get to be in cities very often. And since I'm surprised the username conversation is still going on. I used to go by Torbik until I felt a bit silly about using it after I did a search and found out it's a last name. And here is the inspiration for my current username.

Oh, two things to note now that we are getting a Sun and Moon demo a la the ORAS one minus the aquisition hassles and plus a free Ash-Greninja...

1: That demo is probably gonna be hacked to reveal a near-final build before release. If it is anything revealed from it would be limited to the spoilerthread/chat at best already, but I'd personally really like a moratorium on talking about any demo hacks publicly period. What do you guys think?

A: On a lighter note, in addition to the Twitter-style liveblog I'm doing of Sun proper on Tumblr, would anyone be intrested in reading a sequel to this musty old thing but for the Sun/Moon demo?

A) I'd be up for that, sure. The ORAS Demo one was great.

And in other news, my brand new air conditioning unit has started leaking, ruining several portions of three rooms' ceilings and their carpet.

Fortunately, due to the unit being barely two weeks old, the AC company has to fork out all the money for repairs and to house my family while the work.

This means until Saturday morning I'll be at a motel that has no free internet. But I can still post - albeit slowly - from my phone.

We'll still start Verax's Dungeon this weekend because by Saturday afternoon I'll either be back home or at a nicer hotel - so either way I'll be at a place with internet.

While I'm not sure if the existence of the demo(keeping this a spoiler feels like keeping the existence of a game a spoiler) can even be considered a spoiler so long as you don't talk about anything about it other than its existence, I do feel like having two rooms for spoilers is a bit much. Either allow them or keep it to official "spoilers". As it is right now, it'd probably be best to keep the room to official stuff.

Good point on the mere existence of the demo, Straw, I'm talking more whatever people datamine from it.

Yeah, I feel like spoilering a demo is... pointless? But agreed, anything datamined should be verboten/relegated to spoilerchat at most.

The existence of the demo should definitely be outside the spoilerblock, since, y'know, it's something you're supposed to know about. That said, I'd definitely keep the normal spoilerblock up for the contents of it, and a full block on anything datamined — I'd argue not even in the spoilerchat.
