Surely there's a better image possibility than Ralph picking his nose?

When there are spaces between the word when you write the page title, then the link wont work. I fixed it for you.

I don't think the current one's so bad, but here's one◊ where he's acting even more idiotic, if that's what you're going for.

HA! Love that one.

Geoduck's image is a good one. I think it illustrates the trope better than an image of someone picking their nose.

EDIT: looked at the image again and noticed I have no idea what it is.

He has one of those Chinese finger puzzles stuck on his tongue.

Should be noted that this trope is in the Repair Shop where it has been defined as "incredibly stupid character in a work who makes other stupid characters in the same work appear a lot smarter by comparison."

Neither the current picture nor the proposed replacement shows that.

Not really. Where are the other stupid characters in the picture to compare to the one who is supposed to be an example?

Because that's how the community has defined the trope. You can't have a trope image that fails to both fit and convey the trope's specific definition, otherwise it's not a good trope image.

It doesn't. On the other hand, it is a picture of the Trope Namer, so not that egregious.

Of course, definitely should be another picture of Wiggum.

It's not exactly just a face and a caption, he looks quite dumb on it, but I agree that the other one would be better.

You can't tell that he's doing anything dumb in it unless you read the caption. And even then, I don't know about you, but I can't see that his nose is bleeding, so it's still not entirely clear whether it's stupid or not.
