Basically, take two bands who have some word in common in their names, and put them together into one band name!

The fun comes in imagining how ridiculously improbable/amusing/awesome said combination of bands would be.

Here are some to start you off, from me and various other tropers;

  • Burzbow
  • Sunn O))) House
  • Neutral Milk Tokio Hotel
  • Every Time I Die Antwoord
  • Frank Zip Zappa Rap
  • Florence and the Machine Head
  • Massive Attack Attack!
  • Destroy Destroy Destroy Until God Shows
  • TV On The Radiohead
  • KMFDMC
  • Take That Fucking Tank
  • The Artist Formerly Known As Pantha Du Prince
  • We All Inherit The Mooncake
  • Lamb of Godspeed You! Black Emperor

Holy shit Mastodon Caballero sound awesome. PROG MATH METAL? Yes please. Not so sure about Slayer Bells though. That's not so much a compound as something else entirely. Also they'd be horrible to listen to tongue.

  • Joy Division Wants Eternity
  • Chromeo Hoof
  • Blondie Redhead (Very yes. If Rushian Circles is allowed, then this is tongue)
  • Everything Everything But The Girl (... yeah, that was a poor effort.)
  • Run-D.M. Stith
  • Ol' Dirty Projectors ([lol])
  • Cut Copy Haho
  • Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Yeah Yeahs
  • Cats & Cats & Cats In Paris

  • Blurdkh (well, I would expect Damon to throw in some Ukrainian poetry, double bass drums and riffs that repeat ad infinitum into his music some day)
  • Pordan (brutal death metal played on clean/fuzzed guitar and personal lyrics)
  • Hypnoskull Williams (let Saul Williams hang around some West European techno producers and he'll be doing shit like this in no time)
  • Boards of Montreal (I don't know what ...of Montreal sound like)
  • Kidg Koala Crimsod (turntablism of cheesy heavy metal records with an MC that's afflicted with a permanent cold)

I see your 3-way combo, and raise you a 4-way combo! Kinda. Ish. It has to be written as all one word to function properly, but here goes:

Bahamenomenatwork.

There are 4 bands in there. Honest

@Saeg - there was a 4-way combo already. Napalm Death + Deathspell Omega + Megadeth + Dethklok.
