That last trailer is buckets of awesome. That song send chills every time I play the trailer. DAMMIT OCTOBER.

Despite the fusing taking a lot of time, I feel it's rather essential to MC's character. Surely they'll show Jack Frost, at least. It could be possible that the fusing is just introduced once by Igor and off-screen on all other ocassions. It'd be pretty sweet if the personas he summoned sort of reflected something. *cough*Mara appearing accidentally when MC happened to be thinking about some UST he had earlier in the episode*cough*

Either way, I think they'll still keep the fusing and multiple personas. If not, they'd have to find some other way to make the MC's powers stand out more, I assume.

I rather they not include fusion, personally. The MC's Persona has one of the coolest designs in the series, and it kind of sucks how in the game, it's completely useless. I'd love to see it kick ass in full animated glory.

Oh yes. Izanagi looks just so damn cool.

But how will the character's Persona power up? I mean fusion is the easiest way to get your persona levels right?

How is stuff like that a concern? Since this is an anime, stuff like "leveling up" and the like need not apply.

I'm talking about something common to fantasy anime: powering up.

I mean this.

The Plot relevant persona's transformation thing will be part of the plot,

Each character will get 1, each for their Character S-Link completions and then the MC get his when its comes time to.

Oh, the Izanagi-no-Ookami thing.

Doesn't that only appear in-story during the final boss anyway? If so, then it'll be easy to implement.

Yes, but that requires the fact that the MC has Social Links to begin with. Taking out the Persona fusion aspect also takes out the point of the Social Links (other than evolving the others' personas, that is).

I'm pretty certain that they'll make all the social links into a Chekovs Gunmen or something of that sort. The amount of social links however, are gonna be a problem if what you say is true.

Someone suggested that this anime could consist of two 26 episode "seasons" ala Code Geass and Gundam00. I think that that's a pretty likely (or at the very least, ideal)case.

Actually, I think the ideal number of episodes would be 26 - 39. They don't need to include all of the social links. At the very least, it should include the party social links, Hierophant and Justice. The school social links could just be an extra.

I wonder if the whole Persona gets hit then the person takes the damage thing in the manga will carry over to the anime.

As well as Yousuke's Running Gag of getting Groin Attack ed the manga adds Chie's shadow does this to his Persona during that boss fight.

I SO got to check that out. How much is adapted, btw?

There are 10 chapters translated at the moment which only covers up to the end of Yukiko's. They add a lot of personality here and there as well as flashbacks that do add to the relationship. They show how Chie and Yukiko met, and why Chie talks about a dog in some of those hidden S-Link rank convos.

The fact that Yosuke's Persona' getting kicked in the balls makes me want to read it SO BAD.

The best part about it is whether you like Yosuke or not, it's still funny.

I don't really mind him, but I can imagine that it would be a very delightful scene for his haters. :D
