It's JC Staff's fault that she's being pigeonholed into being Tsundere. Thankfully, it's not JC Staff who's animating this.
Also, Rie had a huge number of non-Tsundere roles. Alphonse, Agnese Sanctis, Happy, Tsukuyomi and Shannon are the ones I know of offhand.
It's her Star-Making Role, apparently. I'm just as surprised as you are when I first found out.

MAL || vndb || BlogALPHONSE? I did NOT know that! 0_o
Thankfully, it's done by the director of Angel Beats, and I have good faith.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Only Shannon doesn't count because the Umineko Anime was unfortunately cancelled before it ever aired.
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.I really wish people wouldn't throw shit around about seiyuu when they clearly have no idea what they are talking about.
Uh-uh. Umineko doesn't get "There is no Umineko Anime!" treatment. Only Tsukihime gets that honor. You'll just have to live with the mess that is the Umineko anime.
What are you talking about, there wasn't a Tsukihime anime either.
I think you're delusional, sir or madam.

TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Of course there isn't a Tsukihime anime.
I'm just saying that, if, in theory, there was one, it would have been far worse than Umineko, which while not good, was entertaining.
Re: Naoto
Doesn't the game refer to her as a boy? What with her being the Detective Prince and everything.
Re: Umineko
I just wish all of the manga was out already... the serialization seems to be moving along extremely slowly.
There is both a Tsukihime and a Umineko anime.
And you can't make me take it back! None of you know where I live!

One Strip! One Strip!
Can't complain about an adaption that doesn't exist.
Rerailing attempt:
Is it just me, or is that theme song a mash up of various melodies from Persona 4?

Christ, this "No Tsukihime" is getting old REAL fast. Look, it had a shitty anime and why just you guys can't accept that? Manga on the other hand, was good. REALLY good.

I do accept it.
But I will assist in the rerailing.
I noticed that last trailer didn't have Naoto in it. And I'm trying to remember if Romi Paku's name appeared in the trailer before it either.
Trying to put the genie back in the bottle there writers? That's silly.
PS. Both Tsukihime and Umineko have Animes.
One Strip! One Strip! What's that with Tsukihime and Umineko not having anime? They do. Superficial denial because some people see it as an Adaptation Decay? They're just blind purists...
Also I now expect the anime to follow the game's story more closely now I have seen the P Vs.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuThe fact that there is no Tsukihime Anime is a long-known fact. You are clearly unaware of all internet traditions.
And there is an Umineko anime.
And I clearly have no interest in silly memes. I'll be posting a Tsukihime episode on the forums just to screw the lot.

I wish this forum had a thumbs up smiley. I don't have any opinion on the non-existant anime. I just think that's funny.
One Strip! One Strip!an episode of a show that does not exist?
bah people these days
I'll trust you guys that the (non-existent) Tsukihime anime was bad, but having never seen the anime that doesn't exist or played the VN, can someone explain to me what was or would be so bad about the anime? I'm curious, in a "staring at a horrible car accident" kind of way.
Tumblr here. They just don't like the anime. But without it, how will they be able to produce a better Fate/Stay Night? F/S N will be a LOT worse if not for Tsukihime.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura Chifuyu
truthfully, the Tsukihime anime was not that bad. It was not good, but I've seen much worse
But still, there is no Tsukihime anime.
I know THAT as well. But what with recent over demand of moe and tsundere characters, I think it might be possible. If that happens, I shall commence war on otakus.
