Agreed. I bet not even the Canonical List of Subtle Trope Distinctions would be able to come up withsomething to distinguish them. Let's just merge and put one of them as a redirect to the other.

Alright, I copied the unique examples from the A Man Should Never Wear a Bikini page and moved them to Man in a Bikini, in addition to taking A Man Should Never Wear a Bikini off of indexes, and fixing the wicks. I made Man in a Bikini the main page because it had more usage and already had its own Troper Tales page while A Man Should Never Wear a Bikini did not.

A Man Should Never Wear a Bikini should probably be merged into Man in a Bikini, considering how small the two articles are and how much overlap there is between them. Even if you consider the two to be distinct ideas (which I don't), that could be covered by a note saying "A common variation on this trope is ..." or something along those lines.
