Bumping. This soft split still needs to be done.

I had a go at making Sandbox.Cut Lex Luthor A Check and at sorting the Anime and Manga bits.
Can I get a bit of help there, please?

I'm trying to help, but so far I've mostly come across examples that don't seem to belong on the page at all.
Okay, that... happened. All of the examples are sorted, but there aren't quite as many as there were before.

Thanks, buddy.
I've swapped in the sandbox in Cut Lex Luthor a Check and made the note on the discussion page.
Lock-hollering this then.

Okay, how about this - this trope only applies if a villain's objective is gaining wealth (e.g., the main thing they do with their powers is commit robberies or hold places hostage for money), but they could gain far more wealth through legitimate means. It may also apply if they have another goal they could easily gain through marketing their technology (e.g., if they want respect/prestige, using their genius to cure some major disease or create an alternative energy source would work as well as using supervillainy).
It doesn't apply if a villain's main goal is ruling the world, revenge, or something else - those examples don't need their own trope and can be removed, since there's nothing surprising about a villain not becoming a legitimate businessman if wealth isn't his aim.
