The main Conan thing was the narration, right?
The upgrade: Was that Boccollet?!?! And why are Gumball and Darwin being so selfish in the first place?
"We be we baby!"Ben Bocquelet looks like this and has a French accent. I'm not sure who that guy was, but he's probably a staff member.
Huh. Never would have guessed that was him.
"We be we baby!"The Upgrade was hilarious and as a tech geek myself, I can relate.
It's more of them being a typical person who believes the newest tech means its better.
^^^Isn't that the guy who appeared on billboard for cosmetic product on that episode were they mistook cosmetic brand for suitor?
It's Philip Hunt (his name is in the credits, and the name in the episode is a parody of his own name; "Fillippo Bento-Hunt"). He's the Creative Director of Studio AKA, where several of the crew of Gumball previous worked, including Ben Bocquelet and Mic Graves.
Daniel Lennard (Vice President of CN Europe) only looks vaguely similar because they both have shaved heads.

To be fair, I didn't check face of the guy in beginning to compare since I was so sure of it x'D And I don't have good memory if I don't pay attention

When Gumball took off his costume, I thought "Oh man, I hope they're gonna do a 'Spider-Man No More' homage" and they did and I was so happy.
Awesome episode. So many tropes.
That part where Gumball cried after getting mugged? That was a little dark.
Also I LOVED Sarah's bad Superhero art, PERFECT satire of the genre.

Double points for Sarah's being a rather 90's looking comic book.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Darwin said "Fedora-wearing neckbeards". I never expected a cartoon to get away with that.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Is anyone going to discuss the episode here? Gumball and Penny are still together. It was a fun episode to watch and nice to see Penny have the spotlight on her.
Yeah, I enjoyed how it actually ended up mostly being from her point of view and got to see how her shapeshifting affects her most of the time. The bus scene was especially hilarious.
I thought it was cute. But for some reason, I still prefer Peanut Penny from Shapeshifting fairy Penny.
"We be we baby!"Well, today's the anniversary of when The Shell first aired. The status quo broke Penny breaking out of her shell, she and Gumball dating at last, and the genocide of Gumball X Carrie shippers. It was a beautiful moment.

-Slow claps-
"We be we baby!"Just watched "The Uploads" and, well, that was very random. I did like Richard's "video game" review though.
The Romantic is pretty fun, since the series rarely uses Penny in a role like that for the same kind of humor as Gumball or Darwin.

By the way, "The Romantic" and "The Uploads" were the first episodes for a new storyboard artist for season four, Yani Ouabdesselam.
This is the show's third Vignette Episode.
Unrelated to "The Uploads": Nicole flashback episode some time this season. GET HYPE

Ya know, looking at that Twitter link, there is something I never understood: Why is there still (what I presume to be) an outdated design of Principal Brown in the title sequence?
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."Someone probably liked the design enough that they felt like doing something with it.
How on Earth is this thread inactive? Anyway, look at this:
The episode coming soon will be how Gumball and Darwin meet: https://twitter.com/CN_France/status/657923194188341248
There may be a musical episode in store: https://twitter.com/benbocquelet/status/400633434634469376
The Neverending Story bit was hilarious.
