If we do get rid of the links, I think we should at least include the chapter (and possibly page) numbers, so people can still find the examples if they wish.

Also, I agree that it would be easier to just have a Negima Spinoffs page with Negima!?, Negima Neo, the Live-Action Adaptation (yes, it exists, unfortunately), etc. None of them are important enough individually to need their own page.

I've been really busy the last weekish, but I'll try to get back to this this week.

I do agree that we can probably put Negima!?, Neo and the LA version on the same page. I really wish we could split out the first anime as well.

If anyone wants to go through the edit history and find the chapter numbers for links I excised, feel free. Otherwise I'll try to work on that when I have more time in a few days.

If ya want to put all the first anime specific tropes in the Anime namespace I would be fine with that. Just making the writeup and tropes neutral is near impossible with the amount of hate it gets and keeping it separate from Negima!? would be a problem.

Pft.

I fucking hate the show and could do a neutral writeup. I'll do it when I finish cleaning the main page then.

GD finding Negima S1 artwork is near impossible. [1] this is all I can find.

A perfect one for Negima!? though.

But now that I think about it maybe we should save the anime namespace if we ever split of the OA Ds.

If it comes to it I'll scan the cover of DVD 5 (only one I own, Sayo episode, and bonus Setsuna cover), but I'm sure I'll find something. Don't worry.

On Hulu it lists the title for the second series as "Negima!? Magister Negi Magi". Not sure if that helps or not, but that's where a lot of American's are going to watch it, and it's what's listed on the title scenes for the episodes.

Well the English title of the manga is Negima!: Magister Negi Magi, the second season is Negima!?: Magister Negi Magi and the manga of the second season is Negima!? Neo Magister Negi Magi. But the series is better known as Mahou Sensei Negima or just as Negima the latter is even official passed the manga's half way point.

Also the "Magister Negi Magi" is a hot button issue with some fans as the series takes great pride in it's Suprisingly Good Latin and the English title is really bad Latin as it's "Master Mage Negi Mages" instead of using "Magic Teacher Negima" which would be the translated title.

Anyway I got the first two volumes of Neo and umm yeah it's got me confused on building the page. It is so different than Negima!? That it may warrant it's own page. All the Character Flandersazations are gone all the Studio Shaft stuff us gone, Negi actually uses his Negima! Style magic, the sneeze of doom is back, and so far the only thing to go somewhat like the anime is the first half of the Eva fight and that went off differently with Chachamaru getting a Robotic Reveal in mid fight.

I dinstinctively remember the bad pactio system showing up.

Negi pulls a dud card in chapter 5 of Neo.

Ok.

Man there are so many unique tropes for Negima Second Season that never made it on the main page... Man I am going to be at this for weeks.

I have had no time to finish watching the series grabbing unique tropes... anyone want to just help launch this? Considering the number of hidden tags on the Negima main page I am unsure on how that writeup would go.

In my opinion the only split should be the anime adaptations in one catagory, the manga in one, and a mention of the unspeakable horror known as the live action adaptation.
