Don't worry Bad Wolf, I won't spoil Chopper's causing of Wolffe's death.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyLike I said, I can't even find it in the guide, which currently goes as far as the 26th. The second half of Season 1 ended up being two weeks behind the US air dates, so I'm guessing it's the same this year.
See, you think that's funny. It's not.

8 MINUTES!~!
My angry rant blog!Actually, does The Siege Of Lothal count as the first two episodes of the second season? Might be relevant to the question of how many there'll be.
So what are everyone's thought's on the episode?
So it's confirmed that the clones removed their chips
Rex is more laid back than I've ever seen him. Good to see him like that, even if he'll have to get back to fighting soon.
One thing that's confusing, Rex claims they removed their chips, yet their conversations seem to imply they served the empire for a few years until the clone army was decommissioned.
Oh and Hera mentions that her life was saved by clones.

I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.Rex is so perfectly the retired war vet grandpa it's beautiful. I think it's safe to say he got his chip removed shortly after Fives died, but remained in the army both out of loyalty to the Republic and to avoid assassination if he tried to desert. Given how damn close Fives came to stopping Sheeve in his tracks, Ol' Scrotumface likely had eyes on everyone Fives made contact with; so Rex would have had to be on his absolute best behavior. The real question is where Rex was when the order came down, since we know he wasn't with Anakin.
Goddamnit Wolffe... Well, his chip is gone, but Rex only specified himself as not betraying his Jedi. Considering the extent of Wolffe's PTSD, I can't help but think he still had his chip when Plo went down. And goddamnit, of course Filoni would have Plo's clonebuddy be one of the ones to come back.
Gregor is just plain fucked in the head.
I think Hera was just referring to the battle of Ryloth there.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyIt's funny how Dave said they were trying to NOT have the show be a continuation of The Clone Wars, and yet here we are.
My angry rant blog!Except it's not. Rebels being a continuation of the show would mean that Ahsoka would be the main character.
Rex and the other clones still being around is just establishing some continuity from TCW.

I wasn't complaining.
My angry rant blog!x9 That sucks. You guys did great with spoilers, though. Thanks
Crow: There's a plot?I just remember a scene in Supply lines. Captain Keli was explaining, for the second time for some reason, to Cham Syndula and the other Twileck freedom fighters that since their right flank had collapsed that their was no escape. Someone, I'm pretty sure it was Cham replies "no escape but our families." It's after that that General Di suggests blowing one of the passes. If it was Syndula he may have been referring to his own family. Interesting thing to note in hindsight.
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom. There's an interesting bit in the Recon episode. At around 3:20 Filoni says "Wolffe was not the clone that tried to take out Plo Koon". You think it was a mistake in his phrasing, or he did mean to imply that Plo might have survived his fighter exploding after getting shot down, and slamming into a building?

Almost certainly not a mistake. I would love if he survived, but I expect it will be that he survived the crash, and Wolfe still had his chip in and killed him.
So, next week's episode is when we'll see the Seventh Sister, right? Or is it the week after next?
Next week it's clones vs stormtroopers and Howl's Moving Castle vs AT-AT.
Is that Clone's identity still canon? In the legends continuity it was Captain Jag, an officer who is mentioned as having been demoted from commander for some reason or another. Would be really sad if they changed it to be Warthog, his trusty wingman who he constantly saved.
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.Okay, hum, so, this episode featured a guy named Rex hunting what looks a lot like a Thresher Maw, using a guy that is voiced by the same VA than Grunt as bait. That is either an awesome Shout-Out or a very big coincidence.
You don't need to spoil it, the trailer already showed Rex would be in rebels.
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.Gregor is crazy! Loopy in the head, that's for sure.

Crow: There's a plot?Again, clearly shown in the trailer, no need to spoiler tag it. Come to think of it the plot of most of the episode was given away in the trailers except of course for Wolfe being a snitch
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.I'm just being considerate
Crow: There's a plot?Some people avoid trailers.
Two tidbits from the writers: first is that The Clone Wars finale would have been the Siege of Mandalore, which already explains where Ahsoka and Rex were. Second, I asked Matt Michnovetz about whether something happened there (not knowing that it was the finale), and THIS is his response.
Anyway, episode was pretty good. Did have an issue with how Wolffe betraying them briefly came out as soon as it came in, but that aside I enjoyed seeing the clone again as well as the stuff with Kanan dealing with them. But damn, those teases! One can only wonder what we will be like when we will see that Ahsoka and Rex conversation that is apparently coming up.
Wolfe being the traitor felt a bit too obvious to me. I dunno if it would have been more surprising if I had watched Clone Wars, but still... and I suppose it would be out of character for the other two.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
Alright.
Do you know when it's airing in Canada yet? Really sucks.
