On the whole 'Last Two Jedi' thing- I'm going with Yoda (who has been on Dagobah since Empire Day) and Obi-Wan (Who's been a hermit on Tatooine since shortly after Empire Day) really aren't aware of any other Jedi, especially since sensing someone's force presence seems to have a range and more/less sensitive depending on how well you know the person. Vader couldn't sense Obi-Wan was alive/around until they were both on the Death Star in ANH. Not a shock that they'd be uninformed as to the whereabouts of other Jedi.
And I personally enjoy the prequels.
...although, I need to analyze all TCW scenes with Anakin and Palpatine now. I remember that you could see Palps subtly manipulate Anakin, but I need to double check that.
You can definitely see that Palpatine is grooming Anakin in their limited screen time in the series.
I actually like the stuff with Anakin and Tarkin better, though.
Oh really? Why's that.
(And I remember that Palps was grooming Anakin, but I want to rewatch those scenes, partly because you don't see Palps manipulating Anakin in TPM or Aot C, and wanted to remember exactly how that went)
Dang that's cool. I miss Ventress.

And like with Vader and James Earl Jones they got the original actor, Frank Oz, to do the voice.

To clarify, its just Yoda's disembodied voice. He's not leaving Dagobah, and the Ghost isn't visiting Dagobah. Also, the Watch Disney XD App will have the next episode, "Path of the Jedi," on Dec. 29.
Sorry about that.

I mean, I like Frank Oz, but why not use Tom Kane? It would tie in better to The Clone Wars.
If Clone Wars didn't use Frank Oz, that only means Clone Wars was the one doing it wrong. Why should other series go out of their way to match its shortcomings?

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Shortcomings????? Tom Kane is a great voice actor. Besides, Frank Oz didn't return to voice Yoda for the Clone Wars which takes place before Rebels, so I don't see why he's returning to voice Yoda in Rebels.
I mean, what? Yoda's disembodied voice is probably gonna be in the The Force Awakens, I guess, but is that the only reason?

I'm not saying the dude's a bad voice actor, and I haven't actually seen Clone Wars, but I bet you one million bajillion dollars he was doing a Frank Oz impression, and I don't know why they would bother getting someone to do an impression when they can get the actual Frank Oz.
Like, I'm sure Clone Wars was a good show and all, but Rebels shouldn't be expected to go out of its way to emulate every tiny detail about it. Between being closer to the movies and being closer to Clone Wars, there is no choice (continuity-wise, not storytelling-wise, I mean).

TCW used Tom Kane because Yoda was around a lot more, and Frank Oz is a busy guy. But Yoda's not even a supporting character on Rebels. He's a cameo.
I don't meant to sound like I'm blaming Clone Wars for not getting Frank Oz, by the way. I understand that Yoda was a regular character on that show, so they probably didn't have the budget for Oz. But since that's obviously not the case with Rebels, it would be really silly to get the other actor just because Clone Wars did it.

TCW needed a Yoda voice on a regular basis, but usually he only had a few lines. Obviously they couldn't drag Frank Oz out to Big Rock Ranch everyother day they recorded a dialoge (they did them Radio Drama-style, so pre-recording every line he had in a season at once wouldn't have worked) with Yoda, especially if he spoke only three-or-four lines. Not to mention they probably couldn't afford to keep him on pay roll either. This Yoda appearence on Rebels on the otherhand is most likely a one-time cameo (much like Liam Neeson's reprisal of Qui-Gon for two episodes of TCW), so it could be arranged relatively easily.
Also since it will only be a disembodied voice, those who did not follow TCW would be confused by Tom Kane's impression, whereas TCW fans are most likely familiar with the movies and thus with Frank Oz's voice as well.

was referring to the person above you, sorry.
Don't worry, I wasn't replying to you, I was just adding to what I said in my other post.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Do you think this series will also be getting Ian McDiarmid back as the Emperor? Because, no offence to Tim Curry... he was seriously miscast. He doesn't sound anything like either of the two Ians that voiced the character, and the one time his voice is interspersed with the lines spoken by Ian Abercrombie laate in The Clone Wars, the switch is so obvious that it's like a slap to the face listening to it.
Speaking of TCW voice actors, Matt Lanter recently revealed that he had recorded something new as Anakin Skywalker.
http://www.starwarsunderworld.com/2014/12/matt-lanter-reveals-he-recorded-new.html
Think we might be seeing a flashback of him in Rebels?
It sounds to me like this show will get the movie actors if they can, and the Clone Wars actors are backup in case they can't.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I wonder what context an Anakin flashback could be under, though. Ah, I really can't wait to see it!
Force ghost style flashbacks, vision quests, hologram recordings. Could be anything in this series.
Sorta-spoilers about a lightsaber.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyMatt Lanter may not have anything to do with Rebels. It could have been for Battlefront, or even the mystery game Amy Hennig is working on.
-shrug- I dunno. I guess? They're bugs, they have a queen...that's usually how these things work.
