Seriously? After like three and half years there's still no talkback? It's not like the show is the same as the pilot movie. Of course, we are right at the season finale and this thread will be slow for a few months, but eh, it still needs to be done.

I've seen a couple episodes, Its really not at all that bad.

Plus Chewie's gonna be in the season finale so that alone makes it worth watching. smile

I've started an Archive Binge on this show. I just finished "Bombad Jedi," and my opinion so far is...meh. Does it pick up later?

Individual episode quality varies wildly, but "Rookies" and "The Hidden Enemy" are generally considered the best episodes of the first season, with the Ryloth trilogy being high up there as well (It is interesting in Mace Windu's spotlight episode, while not as insane as his Clone Wars incarnation, was still indisputably awesome).

I think it's generally considered that the politics heavy episodes tend to be the breaking point among fans, while even mediocre Jedi-centric episodes have some good action to fall back on.

My personal favorite episode was "Lair of Grievous," as I liked the overall theme (Is abandoning who you are, your identity and self-respect, to achieve a goal really a victory?) and Kit Fisto is one of the more interesting Jedi to highlight.

Is it done? Should I pirate it and watch it?

We're getting a fourth season. And it looks like it will include Admiral Ackbar and a battle on Naboo with Grievous fighting what appears to be Captain Tarpals

George Lucas said there was going to be at least 100 episodes guaranteed, regardless of ratings. Finishing up the third season we are approaching 60 episodes.

Jeez, that's a lot of episodes. I've seen the show but a few times but I'll agree that while it definitely has it's ups and downs (putting it squarely in "ok" territory) when it's good it's not half bad at all - problem is it's not-so-great episodes tend to be real groaners.

In general I've noticed that the later episodes tend to be better than the earlier ones.

The quality overall has been increasing, but oh my GOD is this series the poster child for Forgot About His Powers! If I took a drink every time a Jedi could make things so much easier for themselves by using telekinesis but didn't, I'd probably have destroyed my liver by now.

New trailer for Season 4 is up

Looks like they're adapting the Slavers arc of the comic tie-in

^^ Eventually we're going to have Jedi dual wielding double bladed lightsabers, while simultaneously using the force to wield an additional four lightsabers. And it'll be awesome.

To be serious, though, I've always wondered why we barely ever see Jedi wielding light sabers with the force: the potential is huge, but I suppose Magic A yadda yadda means overexertion and stretching focus.

[up][up]The simple reason why we don't see Foce users doing special tricks now with light sabers is because many will ask why didn't Darth Vader the supposedly strongest at the time at using the force do it later on? Its bad enough Vader seems weaker than young Anakin and minus the Dark force Lightning Sith Masters Sidieous and Doku have.

[up]I think part of the problem is all the cybernetics and his life support stuff keeps him from being as nimble as he used to be.

Plus if Vader tried force lightning, he'd just end up frying himself.

I thought the same thing originally but how much time did Luke have in training? And how fast did that fight between father and son last?

So Okay It's Average

While I personally really like the animation, the writing, to me, has always been just....Meh. So many times I've quite watching, only to hear of a supposedly really cool new episode they've just aired, only for it to be....Just a bit disappointing.

I don't think Ahsoka was a bad idea, but I have read that she was originally going to be very different. Apparently the original plan was to make her a timid sort of person, a youngling that was promoted early to apprenticeship and was insecure and unsure of herself. This, I think, could have been a really interesting character and would have allowed for great development, but Big George decided he wanted *another* spunky little spitfire. This just seemed like an irritating rehash of what we've already seen, to me.

Not really. I find her to be a breath of fresh of air to these Jedi who take themselves way too seriously. The Timid warrior who puts on her big girl pants is done to death and way too cliche.

Um lol a lot of loyal fish soldiers, exploded by a crazy shark man. Of course karma kicked in for him, but could have been sooner. But yeah, the way he went was kind of gross.
