A go-kart held together by duck tape and hope that falls apart at the end of the race still finished the race.
I sure said that!thankfully hope gets you places in xenoblade games.
hope that they'll finish up a story thats dragging its heels by the end of 12 chapters, for example...
I'm sure they'll go back to Mira at some point, but right now they must've had an idea for this sequel first.
Sharla's a bit odd, in that if your team is underlevelled and underequipped she's pretty much mandatory to survive, but if you're at a good level with good equipment then she becomes redundant.
I was kinda underlevelled for most of my Xenoblade run so she was pretty invaluable. But once I hit the level cap and took to fighting the superbosses I didn't use her as much.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Sharla is basically a Crutch Character. You don't really lose anything from having her in the party except the added time it takes to finish fights because the battle system favors DPS races.
Not disagreeing, just saying- There's no liabilities in either team, just smaller bonuses.
I sure said that! And a pretty good one, if I may say. Newbies can rely on her for some sense of security while experienced players blitz through with DPS and Topple Lock.
Where there's life, there's hope.I'd argue that Headshot makes for a hell of a mobkiller, too, at least for a while after you get it. It's Sharla's one real offensive trick but it's quite a trick.
I sure said that!If you play your cards right it might just let you kill a pesky Demonic Spider like, say, a Telethia, in one shot, so there's that!
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."That was my experience—my first playthrough I kept Sharla as a regular until Sword Valley. My second playthrough she's part of the general rotation and I like her better for that.
Her line of buffs is actually pretty interesting, if not as useful as you might hope.
Sharla/Riki/Seven. Heat Bullet, Hero Time, Happy Happy, and Final Cross.
I have a message from another time...That's one way to emulate the Shulk/Dunban/Reyn/Seven combo I guess.
Where there's life, there's hope.Melia/Seven/Sharla have a nice chain attack setup where even if headshot doesn't get the instakill it does such a ridiculous amount of damage that it still instakills.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyAny Chain Attack with Melia in it is guaranteed to be OMGWTF.
One problem, Seven and Sharla can't aggro.

Where there's life, there's hope.Sure she isn't in the party for long, but Fiora did a pretty good job aggro-ing Metal Face.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyHahaha.
Where there's life, there's hope.Seven can probably aggro with enough attack speed, double attacks, and aggro-up gems. That's the point of the Power set, right? Add Lock-on if your're worried.
The question is whether Seven's AI can do what you want her to do, because giving Melia to the AI is a Problem.

I have a message from another time...Seven only needs 2 arts for DPS, Party Gauge, and Topple, so fewer arts in your pallete the better.

Where there's life, there's hope.Final Cross, and what's the other one?
Also, I didn't know until now that the Lock On skills had effects other than, you know, Lock On.
I have a message from another time...Speed Shift, probably Seven's point of existence.

Where there's life, there's hope.Yeah, Melia's AI is definitely an issue with her.
Thankfully she's super fun to play as.
And she has the Shining Wizard.
I mean, who would have expected the prim and proper Princess to have a this as one of her moves?
One Strip! One Strip! While wearing a dress too.
Where there's life, there's hope.@Enlong: Every time someone has a Xenoblade conversation someone learns something new. It's like Vt M Bloodlines like that.
(Like, I had no idea that half of Dunban's auras had multiple effects. Or that Warning AI Shulk fills his talent gauge immediately.)
eh. shulk wasnt completely useless as an AI member, so its doable, just not efficient.
