You do actually get an achievement for giving Dunban an Ether Plum, if you didn't know. It's called "Thanks But No Thanks".

I think you get that if you give someone a gift that they hate regardless of who it is.

Nope, it's specifically for giving Dunban an Ether Plum.

There's also an achievement for having Melia give twenty gifts, and one for Sharla receiving that many pieces of fruit.

There's a similar "two birds with one stone" set for Shulk and Seven.

Okay, I just found something really fun. Go to Kneecap Hill (Tephra Cave area) and look out over the cliff, slightly down. What do you see?

Yeah. Means you can see every area from the Gaur Plains geographic area. Just incredible.

Since the Bionis' back is more like a cape or wing structure, you can see just a tiny bit of it.

That moment when you realize that every sidequest to do, especially once you're strong enough to defeat the final boss, is a waste of time in universe.

I got a bad case of Chronic Hero Syndrome. I've been trying to wrap up every quest I've found before this new upcoming cutoff and now it's been ages since I made main story progress.

At least I finally got the Ultra Small Reactor.

I foresee myself doing every sidequest as soon as they're available thanks to my OCD. Of course, that'll make the main story a joke but oh well.

I'm planning on going through the main game on a new file with a checklist upon finishing this first run, myself.

Emile should release all of the sidequest notes that he undoubtedly made for our convenience.

Alright, got all the Unique Monsters and collectables in those two areas that can't be revisited after a certain point. Also got a bunch of quests finished-I've even gotten to Level 3 in all fields for Colony 6. I don't think I'm truly done-done, but eh, it's been a fair while since I progressed in the main story- Onward to Junks!

It was a nightmare of a fight and I just barely managed it, but yes.

How many Mechon unique monsters are named after Goetia demons?

I've only encountered a handful so far, but that sounds like a fairly likely series of things to encounter further on.

Most of the properly functioning Mechon Uniques are named after the Knights of the Round Table, which I thought was a particularly inspired touch.
