Ninja'd. Not really sold on the suggested replacement.

Yeah, it doesn't have an obvious "machinery" look to me, it looks like some kind of weird altar.
Fight smart, not fair.Somewhere there's an image of a tech-priest doing his...worshippy thing. It's probobly on the internet somewhere...Not that there was any problem with the current one....
Yes, yes there was. It's text book Just A Face And A Caption (read the page). The logo shows precisely jack shit to those who don't know the source work.
Fight smart, not fair.I don't think it's a good image, but I wouldn't quite call it JAFAAC. I've never seen it before, but I do think it looks like the logo of some organisation which revolves around technology or cybernetics - it's got a normal skull on one side and a cyborg one on the other, and the gear motif which is usually associated with technology. It doesn't get the worship angle across very well, though, and we should be able to find something better.
Could be Space Pirates for all I know.
Alternatively from Futurama, there's The Temple of Robotology◊.
A cropped version of this◊?
Also, this◊.
This◊ would be great if it weren't for the logos. So would this◊, if it weren't so blurry.
That's great.
The dudes worshiping the laptop are amusing, but the watermarks over that first one are unfortunate.

Robo Jesus is good. As is the second laptop picture. Don't we have a trope about something being a made up religion based on christianity that we can link it to?
Ah, it's Crystal Dragon Jesus.

Fight smart, not fair.If it were space pirates, they would be cyborg space pirates.
I mean if it were just the skull and gear that'd be one thing, but when half the skull is a robot...
aside from the fact that the adeptus mechanica are this trope. It's their thing.
No but being an obvious symbol for cybernetics, or a cybernetic group is. Particularly with the old caption.
Cybernetics are not required for this trope, merely a worshiping of machinery. That was clearly just a symbol of something, rather than worshiping. Give me a shrine or something, but a symbol alone is just a symbol, nothing of a religious nature.
Fight smart, not fair.Despite being a major 40k fan, I do agree...the Ad Mech symbol is JAFAAC. Now, if we could get a picture of techpriests actually worshiping a machine that'd be great. I'm going to throw my vote behind the guy praying to his laptop.
Still, the quote works fine.
"If everything on Earth were rational, nothing would ever happen." ~Fyodor DostoevskyI'm okay with this◊ despite the blurriness.
Fight smart, not fair.[1]◊ is pretty dynamic.
(From the "Robot opera" Death And The Powers, if that matters.)
Forum banned as possible bot. Pm'ed the fast one. Thumping.
Just a quick question, how can we delete a primary logo?
x4 There's nothing there that says "machinery", at least not in any evident way.
What's a primary logo?
Fight smart, not fair.Tried to find a good picture of the Femputer. Ugh.◊ It would work great if it was big enough to crop, but I can't get anything clearer than that on GIS.
