I ordered a copy of Heartgold. I would have just gone ahead and bought it, but my DS is currently in my dorm and I'm home for spring break.

Between Leafgreen and Heartgold, I should be able to catch every Pokemon in the first three generations except for six legendaries.

Pokemon Black is fairly good, although I am kinda disliking the lack of a vs seeker/any other trainer rematches.

And I think damage is the dice roll for the attack + the attack stat of the attacker - the defense of the target.

That sounds right.

Argh, I'll get around to getting Black at some point. But first, I feel obligated to "catch up" by playing a Gen IV game.

Physical Description:

Claudia has dark, olive skin, loosely curled black hair, and dark brown eyes. Her hair is a bit longer than shoulder length and she usually wears it back in a loose ponytail. She doesn't pay much attention to clothing and generally just wears whatever's practical, like jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers. However, she has a pair of lab goggles that she almost always wears on her forehead – without them, she feels naked.

Personality:

Claudia is a bit of an oddball. She doesn't interact with humans very much, preferring to spend her time in the company of Pokemon whenever possible. She is extremely enthusiastic about science and loves conducting hands-on experiments and trying to uncover the truth. Recently her obsession has been with psychic powers: at first she doubted their existence, but upon viewing the evidence it became clear that some people really are able to use psychic powers. Ever since this discovery, Claudia has been wanting to meet someone who can do this or, even better, uncover such powers in herself. Tends to very easily get caught up in herself and her experiments, potentially hurting others accidentally or just wasting a good deal of time. She yearns to become a Pokemon trainer and catch many Pokemon of her own, as well as make friends with them.
