And nippulz.
Jonah FalconThe Beauty and the Beast unit were kinda lame compared to the other Quirky Miniboss Squad's (Although Dead Cell barely counted).
Hopefully, we'll get a better one if there is another MGS. But they probably won't please as many virgins.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Screw you. T Hat boss fight against Laughing Octopus was fucking brilliant.
That I'll agree with.
It's the other three that made me go meh. Definitely not as good as Foxhound or the Cobras. They weren't interesting enough, and there wasn't enough variance among them to make them stand out.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Screaming Mantis and Crying Wolf were both pretty good too. Remember, the Cobras had some relatively poor bosses as well (Fury, anyone? The Pain? The Fear?).
I really like Raging Raven's, actually.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudFor me it's the other way aruond: I thought Laughing Octopus was the weakest (once you memorize her disugises and patterns it's easy) and that Raging Raven was the best due to scale of the battle.
But absolutely none of them can even hold a candle to the REX vs. RAY fight. That one seriously might qualify for a "top ten mech fights ever" list!
What else is there?
...
...Huh, you got a point there. Can't think of any off the top of my head except for the previous games and their mech fights...
The Boss is always going to be the fight to end all fights for me.
Although The End was pretty frakking brilliant as well.
Against all tyrants. There is only one fact that I can tell you about the game for sure:
It will be Kojima's LAST game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

He said that in 2005. Bastard liar. ;-;
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudHe's been saying it since at LEAST MGS 2.
Remember the death threats he got when he said he wouldn't do the series anymore?
Against all tyrants. He's a popular guy.
As if they can be taken seriously...
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.So, am I a bad Metal Gear fan for thinking the series should have ended at three, and that Portable Ops and Peace Walker were unnecessary? I also felt that story wise, Four was mediocre.
I am looking forward to rising because Kojima is only minimally involved.
So am I a bad fan?

Yes. You're also an intelligent gamer.
Jonah FalconEnding the series at 3 would have left the plot totally unfinished. At the very least 4 tied things up and gave us some closure.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.4 closed some things, and opened many others
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/But it definitively closed the story of Solid Snake. Everything else is just gravy at this point.
I loved number 4. Playing as an old man never felt more empowering
4 brought a lot to the series in my opinion, and without it the story would have felt hollow and unfinished.
Power corrupts. Knowledge is Power. Study hard. Be evil.Or at least Solid Snake's story would have lacked closure.
The world of Metal Gear has room for more stories. Honestly, I think they should drop the Solid bit off the title and focus entirely on a new character in the same world. Just call it Metal Gear ___. You know, with the ___ being the new operative/character's codename.
It's not called Solid because of Snake. Snake was the protagonist of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. It's called Solid because it made the leap to 3D. MGS ended up being hugely popular, so the name stuck. It doesn't have anything to do with Snake.
Dose asses.
