[up] Yay. Always nice having confirmation. Even if it'll be quite some time before we see it translated, it's good to know it's coming.

Yeah, it confirms that Atlus is better at maintaining DS support than Nintendo

More info to go with the official announcement. Wonder just how similar the Friendship system is going to be to P3/4?

Also, yes, it lives up to its name with the chance for characters to get Killed Off for Real. Instead of the Laplace Mail though, there's a website that reveals who's at risk. I wonder how often you'll get to consult it, though...? And who else will have access to it... (Maybe it'll have a mailing list...?)

...And is it GIPS or JIPS? I've seen it both ways...

I expect it'll be functionally the same as the Laplace mail

Though this sounds like something everyone could know about.

[up] Maybe... I think the Septentrion would be really difficult to hide, too.

Masses: Holy crap! What is that?!

Soldier: Just a gas leak. Move along.

Masses: ......

Soldier 2: ...Er... It's... a really weird viral marketing campaign for ice cream...?

Masses: ...Oooh, ice cream.

Have any of the Mega Ten games beyond the latest Persona titles included a Masquerade?

Most of them start out with one, but it tends to get stomped pretty flat by the end. Strange Journey is a pretty good example; regardless of what path you take, by the end of the game the Schwartzweld is eating South America and Australia, and the whole world knows what's going on.

But somehow,

So it looks like the Nicaea website actually contacts people who are going to die — or, at the very least, e-mails the Power Trio with their own impending death video just to start things off. That'd be a bummer.

And the Playboy Bunny who keeps popping up on the Japanese website has been explained as a possible 'contact' with Nicaea. Ironically enough, you get to choose their gender... go fig.

That's not how irony works!

Anyway, this site will soon be real and will result in some accompanying creepypasta. I'm willing to bet money on it.

That's...quite a lot of blood. I wonder if all of the pictures will end up being that gruesome.

The new NPC character looks and clothes makes him look like Accelerator.

The opening for the game can be found on the web. I saw it on youtube earlier.

The Melancholy Man appears to fit the White Haired Pretty Boy trope so far. So I'm not surprised him and Accelerator look similar.

I Still can't get over that song.

Also, note Io pulling off a Nibelung Valesti at the end.

So...because someone named Ronaldo exists in this game, I must have it.

Also, because I liked the first Devil Survivor

Yeah I preferred Reset but the game still looks pretty cool.

You can get the Japanese rom online now if you want to check it out. I played through the first battle, and it looks pretty cool so far. There are FM Vs in Devil Survivor 2.

There might have been an option for it, but I didn't see it. I was playing it in Japanese, which I unfortunately can't readsad.

Also, you can find tracks from the game's soundtrack on youtube. I haven't listened to them yet, but am looking forward to more awesomeness.
