Charlie Tunoku is a lover and a fighter. Most cons sell tickets per day, not per location. According to this: http://www.dragoncon.org/members.php
You want a normal membership, that covers the whole weekend. If you want to go to the Awards Banquet you want a ticket to that, they're sold separately. Eternal Memberships I believe get you in every year forever.
There's only one membership, but the sooner you buy it, the less you pay - it's a discount for paying in advance.
Your membership gets you in the door to the con itself; assuming you're coming from out of town, the other main concern is to book a room in a hotel nearby so you have a place to sleep at night. Dragoncon is REALLY REALLY big - they have five hotels where events will take place (far as I can tell) and they can get you a discount in those hotels. The "overflow" hotels are hotels that don't have events, just rooms to sleep in.

BTW, I'm a chick.
I want to get tickets and go to Dragon Con (a con in Atlanta, GA, for those who don't know) next September, but I have no idea what to do. What do the memberships mean? When I look at location, it shows five different hotels. Where is it? When I buy a membership, what do I do then? Can anyone who's been before help me out?
