It's a pun on "amazing" and the "om" chant typically heard in meditation chants, the implication being that the character is gaining power by meditating mid-battle. It has 24 wicks, 7 inbounds and 9 examples, indicating it isn't a healthy article at all. Trope name should be changed to something more relevant, like Mid Battle Meditation. Meditation Powerup also exists as a redirect.

"Thorough preparation must lead to success. Neglect nothing."Ohm is the stock phrase when you meditate... Laconic would be Meditating Powers You Up.
Yes very bad name.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I would like to see some kind of reference to meditation in the title. Meditation Powerup is a fine SPOONy option if we can't come up with anything cleverer.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Also OK with Meditation Powerup.
As it is it just looks like a typo, you should probably put the "h" in so readers know that it's referring to the Hindi "ohm"/"aum".
GITAH~As far as I know "om" is a meditation mantra, whereas "ohm" is the scientific unit of resistance.
Either way, bad name, no cookie. I agree with the rename.
Crowner or good to go?
Fight smart, not fair.Meditation Powerup works for me.
There Hasn't been any opposition for the name yet. So I guess we don't need a crowner.
I do not object to Rename.
I'll go ahead and move the page over to Meditation Powerup. Won't be able to handle the wicks this time around.

Are we making Omazing Powerup a redirect, or just cutlisting it?
Usually we turn the old names into redirects. It helps smooth over any possible problems.
So... Yes.

I was just curious; if the old name's a redirect, fixing the wicks doesn't seem like as big a deal.
Oh, well, either way, I'll handle them.
Speaking of, since the name will still be around, should it still be on the Just For Pun index, or is that not for redirects?
Edit: Done, except for that Just For Pun one.

No, you don't want things pointed at redirects if you can help it. The reason we did it with Ptitles was so people know where they're going.
Fight smart, not fair.
I had no idea what the title meant before I read the article.
I had no idea what the title meant after I read the article.
