@rik: I don't think the other kids think the levitating Vice-Principal is normal, they simply believe they should accept the differences in other people and treat them as you'd treat anyone else. Also, that one kid thinks levitating is cool.

Belated realization: The Jhonny gang is all hung up on the Activity Club levitating, but this page establishes that levitating is something perfectly normal kids do.
