Hm... What would be the chances of Forge possessing a random forest animal? Can Spirits even possess those?
I'd assume if they could than it would have been mentioned at some point. I mean, it's got some pretty obviously different ramifications from possessing a person or an inanimate object.

Hmm... Actually, if they can't possess animals, or anything that isn't human or inanimate, that poses a very interesting question about the nature of non-rational life in the Paranatural universe. It would mean that, while animals are alive, they neither produce "yarn" the spirits can feed from nor can act as a midway between human "yarn" and spirits, as tools do.
Of course, we have nothing on the matter yet; However, while it might be unreasonable to affirm "spirits can't possess animals", it doesn't seem to me that affirming "spirits can't possess plants/fungi/bacteria/viruses" is.
Yes, I know I'm overthinking this, but shush.
Or perhaps we just don't know about the bacteria spirits!
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.Maybe non-sapients are just very low-productive compared to humans?
Lucifer is rather... sinister. It seems he's the one behind Spencer's the-ends-justify-the-means-y-ness.

Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I have a feeling that Isabel's worrying about telling about losing the book is pointless.
I really like the friendship between Isabel and the burger child.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Lucifer might also be why Spender is such an abysmal teacher. Because Spender takes the "Need-to-know" thing ridiculously far, and from this, it seems that Lucifer may legitimately thinks that way.
Not Three Laws compliant.Anticipating a rant about Eightfold being a friend, not a tool come Tuesday.
Would be appropriate. Can't imagine Francisco will give half a shit, though.

It's good to see Max's haunt-y friends again.

Oh God! Natural light!Remember how Isabel was terrified of dogs? Apparently she believes in immersion therapy.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Max should probably realize that not telling PJ the truth, after putting the tool idea into his head, could be dangerous.
Umbran Climax◊He'll tell him.
Give Max a break, he had a rough night.
"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursRemind me... what is this truth that you speak of? Was there a revelation about the nature of ghosts using tools that I am not remembering?
Wasn't it that it would sap his spectral energy and kill him?
EDIT: That page also just made me realize just how harsh it is for Max to be trapped in Mayview. He knows he's on a timer to meet his mother's ghost, with no guarantee that he isn't already too late, and he has no idea when and if he can reach her. Ouch, man...

Can't blame them for not counting on Forge find some convenient dork to possess. What are the odds, really?
