Not a bad person, just consistently suspicious. Though I admit, I did not expect him to get up that quickly from presumably insanely hot steel pressing in his chest. Metal is an excellent conductor, by all rights he probably should have lost the top layer of his skin at a minimum. I was just always wondering that if he was not particularly good at his particular jobs then what is he for exactly?

Wwear... It's a Homestuck thing. The speech pattern of a character who I am tied to thanks to my zodiac but the character is also pathetic and slightly awful despite minor similarities to myself so my desire to distance myself from him is great.

@Hydrall, Frankly, I cannot think of anyone better for Johnny to have than Forge.

What's one of the ways to become a spectral? Near-death experience. I'm sure having a near-death experience next to a spectral battle would increase the chances even further. Maybe this actually is possible.

Speaking of normals becoming spectrals, remember when the whale-frog considered possessing Max's dad? I wonder if a spirit can possess any normal and jumpstart their development as a spectral...or maybe Max's dad is a spectral and he just never saw the need to mention it to Max.

Ghost-seeing protagonists having a dad who can see ghosts too is a well-known staple of anime and the animesque.

Ichigo's dad was also an extremely silly idiot until the reveal.

If Max's dad becomes a spectral, Morrison is going to subvert it so hard somehow.

Yarn similes get involved at some point.
