Huh, I don't think we've had confirmation before that dropping into spirit-mode allows you to interact at normal speed with someone else in spirit-mode. But apparently not their spirit. Interesting.

The whole "superspeed" thing is pretty new development anyway. However it does make sense for interaction - they drop you into same time dilation and the outside world is not completely erased by the spirit-illusion. And of course, the spirit's part is in all in the head of the owner.

Whoops. That's bad.

Also, vaguely Greek statues? Does this mean that her spirit is a statue of Eros/Cupid?

Greek(esque) statuary made me think of Medusa, which doesn't fit the love thing nearly as well, but isn't actually incompatible, depending on the telling of the myth one subscribes to.

So, put me in on that long shot call because why not.

I like how the spirit modes alter the environment around them. Like, did you notice that the parasol became a mushroom in Mina's page, but it's a flower now?

Although it's weird that appearance-changes to the environment would manifest for a blind woman. Maybe it's all in the spirit's mind.

edit: You know, I just realized that it's interesting that whatever is announcing itself touched her on the shoulder. Assuming it's her spirit... for a normal person that would be pretty assertive and offputting. But for a blind woman, being greeted by an old friend she's very familiar with, it might well be a friendly gesture, as a way of announcing its presence.

Thought, forgive me if someone's mentioned it. But does anyone else notice how the Red words are always the most important words in the sentence? Like she's cutting right to the... heart of the matter.

That's because she knows what's important, and important things need emphasis.

Didn't Isaac or Max ask how Spender was pronouncing words in color once? Or was it Day who was doing that?

You know, it would make complete sense that a maneating plant with no lips with lisp...

You might also be thinking about Isaac getting annoyed at Spender verbally redacting words (somehow).

I made a page for Venus on the Paranatural wiki, but his name won't show up in the Characters box. If anyone knows how to make this happen, I'd appreciate it.

Edit: Oh, it's working now, and no one did anything. I guess it just needed time to process?
