Totally a phone, calling it now.
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️He's stopping by the trash can... is he throwing something away?

Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️And no one even questions why there was a noisy twig in the hallway.
Shonen anime
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Kids bring sticks inside all the time.
Or maybe that's dogs. Close enough.
Sorry, but I actually cant survive the tension.
Tell my story.
I have a message from another time...Well, Starchman did go outside to tender to the animals. The most pushed explanation would be that he took a branch with him and dropped it to test if he was being followed
We do have a trope about that "alert stick" thing, right?
I just want to note how impressive it is that Mr. Starchman has managed to make Ed, a Mayview resident who spends most of this page crying over a finger skateboard, think of him as strange.
You know, I just realized, I don't think we know anything about Ed's backstory. Max we've seen his deal and Isabel grew up with her spectral grandfather, Isaac is presumably a Mayview local who got medium'd and drafted by the Activity Club more or less by accident... but Ed we don't have much information on. He lives with Isabel's grandfather as well so he doesn't seem to be a Mayview local, but doesn't seem to be related to Isabel's family (like cousins or something) and Isabel's grandfather doesn't really seem to give a shit about him despite presumably agreeing to, you know, let him live in his house. He's got the Cloud Cuckoolander thing going on, but it seems to be at least partly a defense mechanism and he's obviously legitimately upset over his not-argument with izzy.
There's a lot going on there, but we don't know his origin story (for lack of a better term) yet.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.I'm more concerned that with Ed being a trained spectral he should know when someone is sneaking up on him.
So is Johnny a goddamn Stealth master now?
Well, panel 3 of this page seems to imply that Ed considers himself a Guerra, so maybe he's Isabel's adopted brother? Though if that's the case, it seems really weird that the comic wouldn't have stated it outright by now.
More that he's distracted by the awesome skateboard tricking before him.
Especially since he's talking about being worthy of a relationship to her in that very page.
Isaac's had to come up with excuses for not being able to pass the Mayview barrier, which suggests that he's got some sort of family outside the town.
It suggests he has family in town, and they've had reason to leave. Admittedly, that reason could be that they have family out of town.
I think that Ed is weird.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.FTFY
wasn't that the point of like, literally the entire first chapter?
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Wait, what was he going to say?!
Writer, or something. And... a button? 🖲️Team building exercises?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Does the sign by Ed say "be wary of ambush", or am I misreading that?
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.
I know, hence why I thought it was Disney
