I wonder why they barred parts of their names.
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Real? Of course.
An unexpected response? You'd have to not be paying much attention to how people behave if it is for you.
Something worth paying attention to? I say no.
Ruining everything forever.Blaming Japan for Pyramid Head? But he's so memetic!
But yeah, this is pretty fucking foul. I doubt many of the commenters are still particularly aggrieved over WW 2, and just taking any excuse to wallow in bigotry and loathing.

Aww, did I hurt your widdle fee-fees?I say these people are collected in an airplane and dropped (with parachute) above one of the destroyed cities to help cleaning up the crud. Or probably get lynched if they repat their crap over there.

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Yeah that is just straight-up fucked up.
Everyone knows that Japan got paid back for it with Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And besides the Japanese who died in the tsunami and quake had nothing to do with Pearl Harbor.
I don't really see the point of this thread.
It's the internet. As long as I've been on it stuff like this has happened for any disaster, and will continue as long as the internet exists. It's nothing new.
It's insane, but people are gonna say what they wanna say.

Kanaya, it's hard. Being a kid growing up. It's hard and no one understands.I have a question...what's the chinese and korean community's response to the earthquake in Japan anyways?
They have a much better reason to be bitter at Japan, but I can't find any of their opinions anywhere. Atleast nothing like the one this thread is about.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."South Korea has apparently sent a rescue team, according to the BBC.
I just find it incredibly odd that they announced this on their facebook pages, you'd be ostracized for saying such hurtful things.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote? The governments of those countries aren't going to say anything negative towards their neighbor as they trade with them.
Also, remember that South Korea isn't on really good terms with either Japan (they didn't accept Japanese imported goods until the 1990's) or China considering Japan occupied them for decades and China's communist government stands directly parallel to South Korea's democratic government AND Taiwan.
If it wasn't for U.S. involvement, these nations could very possibly have gone into war with each other at some point in the 20th Century.

Kanaya, it's hard. Being a kid growing up. It's hard and no one understands.Yeah, I know there's no point. There will always be people like these, and we should carry on and not giving a flying toss about them whatsoever. To post this is more of a cathartic thing, I would have imploded otherwise.
On Korea, I'll be saddened too if they do respond viciously (and, who am I kidding, I know such comments must exist), but at least they won't fail history.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. It's just GIFT at its finest.
And lack of history. Japan already got what it deserved for attacking Hawaii, many times over.
A brighter future for a darker age.As cruel as this might sound...if ANY are still alive(not likely, they all probably died of old age), I do honestly wish the ones who were involved in the wars(anything related to China/Korea) do get killed in the earthquake though.
Just Following Orders is a bullshit excuse. But that's going off-topic.
Anyone else, the citizens of the next generation, and those not related to the war? They're innocent, and anyone would wish them all the best. Like the saying goes, "something children something father's sins something"

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Not every solider who went into China/Korea was a murder of innocent civilians Signed, it might be good to remember that. Every nation had blood on their hands in WWII.

Kanaya, it's hard. Being a kid growing up. It's hard and no one understands. Not every, but quite a few. And the ones who didn't commit warcrimes didn't do a thing about it or anything.
That said, I meant those who committed the said acts, the ones who just stood by should get something, but probably not as bad as the ones who did do them.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."@Signed: that's a constant of human nature. Most of us are not strong enough to stand up to authority, especially if it might get us killed. See the large number of psychological experiments which have shown to what extent people will do (what they believe to be) unconscionable things if someone with apparent authority orders them to do so.
Most of us in this discussion would probably go along with it too. I am not arrogant enough to assume I would not. I hope I would not, but that's all I can say.
A brighter future for a darker age.Yeah. I was just disturbed. Why the same thing does not happen, for example, in Haiti, in Iran?
Agreed.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Oh, there was PLENTY of stuff about how the Haitians deserved it. And from people who weren't trolling, either.
A brighter future for a darker age.Still shouldn't excuse them either way though, whether they were scared of challenging the majority or not.
An entire class once got detention back in elementary school because no one would rat out the people who made a girl classmate cry, apparently most of them were "scared" of raising their hands. (I was in the other class)
A bit harsh? Probably. But I never said I was a merciful person.
^ What did the Haitians do? That might give trolls an opportunity to use the "HAHA KARMA!" move?

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."<snark>They're black and poor, which means they deserve it.</snark>
Actually, and more seriously, several influential fundamentalist Christians asserted this was God's punishment on them for dealing with the Devil.

A brighter future for a darker age.No one ever made any black jokes when Hurricane Katrina (why give it a girl's name?) struck...
And well...they're fundamentalist christians. They'll say a woman deserved to get raped because she was wearing clothes that revealed her arm...

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."You'd think every country had blood on their hands in some war or another. Making a connection about how it's "karmic" is about as difficult as putting on a hat.

Perhaps it's mentioned already in one of the relevant threads, but is this for real? Apparently it's legit.
TSUNAMI VS PEARL HARBOR Viceland.com
I don't know which is more devastatingly disappointing: the poor grasp on recent history, or the sheer cold-bloodedness.
