Oh, that's a game? Huh.

I thought it was just something they assembled to show off the new engine tech.

Makes me think of Deus Ex with X Men as guest stars.

^Yeah, that looks like the Tech Demo thing Epic released a while ago.

^^Well, as Charlatan said, it looks like Deus Ex meets X Men.

Which does sound awesome, but there's gotta be a comic book about that already.

^Oh, that's what he meant.

^Well, some of Epic's game have ended up on the PC. Certainly, they might be on Xbox first, but they do end up on the PC.

Actually, just considering Epics comments about the NGP, I'd guess that. It'd be weird for them to praise it and only give it ports.

Looks good (definitely the stone skin effect).

^^Well, that presents an issue: Does Epic delay it until after the NGP comes out, or do they release it ASAP and port it to the NGP later, if it isn't out by then?

You honestly think a full sized game thats just announced now has any chance of being released this year? I figure this won't see daylight til 2013.

^^Not necessarily, if only because in the former case (which is most likely), the NGP still has to be released first. Plus, it kinda seems like games that have trailers and ads for them made public end up being released several months later. Or maybe that's just my perception of time.

Lastly, this game could have been in development for a good long while.

The gap between announcement and release is usually a very long one. Plus, y'know, this isn't gameplay, its a CG cutscene. LA Noire had one of those 6 years before release.

You Keep Using That Word. All graphics are CGI.

Those graphics are not pre-rendered, if that's what you're implying.

1. How do you know?

2. I know what I said. Its a CG cinematic, as opposed to gameplay, a lack of which usually means the game is far away.
