For some reason, I "heard" Sabueso's first quote in a "Macho Man" Randy Savage voice. "Can't say I blame Kit for not trusting you, knight! Oh yeahhhh!" First time that's happened.
Sabueso with a Randy Savage voice kinda makes sense, though.
That works! I sometimes imagine Sabueso's lines being read by The Macho Man myself. 
So that's what this does
Never mind the voices, I heard that dramatic drum sound between those three frames. I expect there's a trope for it.
Sabueso knows just enough for Kit not to immediately blow him away.
Information can sometimes be a very effective shield.

We don't know that Kit is a virgin. We know she is celibate and has supernatural qualities she shares with a virgin. The rest is speculation.
Kit's virginity? Hmmm...Well, that's certainly an interesting topic to speculate on. I'll leave you all to it!
But, for now, here's something I posted on Nuklear Power Forums that I wanted to post here regarding this recent update:
This was originally four pages (which is why it says pages 9-12), but I didn't think one of them worked, so I cut the entire page out except for the panel where Charsi says "Chastity is important for maintaining a healthy, balanced spirit."
I have this image right now of the wand doing the magical equivalent of the old cartoon in-love freakout when Charsi touches it; eyes bugging, heart thumping out of chest, tongue rolling out like a carpet, wolf-howling, AAAAWWWOOO-GGUUHHHH!, etc.
Now I'm wondering what was on the cut page. A whole page of laughing at the virgin? I think it works just fine as is.
Mostly it just dragged out the scene and made more out of the virgin "joke" than I felt it needed. It also made Kit and Sabueso come across as being too chummy, which I felt would give people the wrong impression. Especially since Sabueso was going to electrocute Kit with the magic wand.
I'd say you made a good call. Though, it wouldn't surprise me if Kit and Sabueso could get buddy-buddy for a second to pick on a third party.

You know, I've just thought of something. We grumble every once in a while about the archives on the Nuklearpower site. Since there's little that can be done there to fix it, maybe we can edit the first page of this topic to link to different points. The story arcs, the advertisements, character introductions, the Art Shift, etc. It might still be a pain to find a specific page, but going to the first page and going to "Charsi's first appearance" or "Poe talks with Lucas" may be handy, better than "I think it was three months ago...no, it wasn't."
Maybe I'll do it. My first post was on the second page, marginally less convenient than being on the first.
