The Fear Mythos

This actually sounds like a neat idea. Let me see if I can think of something for the water one.

The Pool or something.

The Pool is, essentially, water that is capable of conscious thought. Any normal water it comes into contact with is assimilated into the whole. It's unclear where exactly The Pool originated, or how wide-spread the consciousness is now.

For the most part, The Pool lies dormant, content to slowly spread throughout the world. Slowly converting water into more of itself. Waiting. Spreading. It could be lurking in the puddle in your backyard. The neighborhood swimming pool.

It could even be inside you, exerting its will in tiny, tiny little ways. You could be one of its pawns and never know it. At least, not until it's too late.

Well, that's all I've got for now. Would the "water hive mind" thing work or am I completely missing the point?

Oh, wait. What if water is more than one, yet still one?

Like how Slendy here is nine different personalities/methods of killing.

What if the main body is the hive mind, while the water spreads out and "infects" shit, making different-looking variations o itself?

This one seems a bit more "in your face" than the Slender Man. It looks like it's more oriented towards blowing crap up than driving you mad and killing you in your sleep.

Haha yeah that's all it does. It isn't intelligent and destroys things because thats what it does; it's a force of nature just like rain or hail

I just realized The Pool could tie in with my first idea about the tentacles. I mean, its ink could, instead, be the water described.

..just an idea.

I thought that was what he was talking about.

Awesome. It's quite something to see my ideas being used. :D Thank you, by the way. I'll work on kinking out the details on the Water Blogger idea (probably changing the name, too), and then I'll make some random blogs and accounts and whatnot.

Thoughts on The Wooden Girl?

So, hopping over from the Slendy thread, I have three ideas for the new monster to use in my blog that need tweaking. They may or not be used for this, I'm over here at cutewithoutthe's request.

-The Stitcher, who falls in love with victims and stitches them into it. Associated with urban centers and likes to hang out on ceilings. Even if said ceilings aren't there. Needs a cool new name, also.

-Shadow People, which are self-explanatory. I was thinking a group of four or five that methodically hurts everybody around the stalked, but never lays a finger on them.

-Not!People. They generally harass you, and you slowly plunge straight into the Uncanny Valley due to their influence.

What do Not!People look like?

And I'm trying to find a name for The Stitch at this time...

Latin for "to stitch together, sew" = Consuo Consui Consutum

Doll people, pretty much. I was thinking that they'd be really lonely and trying to make themselves a family by turning other people into copies of them. After the Valley-ization the victims tend to fall ill and die.

Also, notice @ rest of thread: after the possible inclusion of The Visitor's guys, and maybe a few more including the magma elemental, we're going to stop adding elementals untill one of them are used and killed. Thats the only way to add more; we have to kill a few off. Only mine have to, though.

..The Stitcher sounds a lot like the Seamstress from 9. o.o It was a ghastly beast, though, so this is bound to work well.

Oh, also, feedback on The Wooden Girl: I can't make out her features very well in that picture, and I'm not quite sure what she's supposed to do. >.>;

Well, The puppet Girl is really The Dragon to someone...I'm not sure who right now, though...

Oh, Djay, I've decided that the water elemental will be comparable in strength to Slenderman.

All the primary elements are, actuallly. Fire, water, earth, and air cannot be killed off.

The Wooden Girl will be the first elemental death, to show that humans have a fighting chance; i'm not making a series wherein everything is pointless, y'know?

We will also be creating creepypasta for each one...Djay, you have dibs on the water elemental...

we need a name, btw ;D Try to have a 'the" in it, to keep up the theme.

I will post a bette rpic of the girl and her backstory later.

Technically, she's not a she; she was originally a he....

You guys can have the two I decide not to use!

and Djay, I knew I was being secretly being inspired by something, I just didn't know what... pretty sure the Seamstress didn't want 8's bad romance, though.

I'd go ahead with, say, the Shadow People and then whip you up a creepypasta on the Not People and the Stitcher.

Well, she kinda brutally murders them when she stitches them into herself. Thus why she needs to go find a new love interest after each acquisition.
